I'd love for the white legendary enchantment to flip to Serra's Sanctum.
Note that Spires of Orazca is quite different from Maze of Ith mechanically. It's a fixed Maze that doesn't let you save your own creatures or go infinite with Argothian Elder.
I'm blanking on what land the red legendary enchantment could turn into.

Library of Alexandria would be fantastic as El Dorado. Assuming the transform cost would have to be pretty prohibitive to prevent it from being game-breaking.
many of the DFCs so far are of lands which originally didn't have a simple ability to unconditionally tap for one mana. So I'm thinking some of the likely cards could be:
Granted, the fact the dual-typed lands would be on the back face inhibits their usefulness like for Fetches and such. But perhaps they'd have an easy transform condition akin to Checklands? Like artifacts that check to see if you control a Plains or an Island, then transform?
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

I've had the same idea-
the presence of Glacial Fortress and friends almost reinforces the notion,
but aren't there too few DFC slots for this to be possible?
Maybe enemy colors only with allied pairs in Rivals (ooh, irony!)?

Still probably won't happen
Based on a tweet I can't find ATM, I'm hoping we'll see something like DFC ABUR snow Duals in a snow-themed set(s).
Secretly Publicly, I'm hoping for a mono-non-snow-basic-type land that flips on some kind of "snowfall" mechanic to create a dual snow-covered land.

I was kind of thinking the same as you guys. But I'm not entirely sure how it would work. Maybe they could have a tag along clause like Panglacial Wurm but specify like when you search for an island or swamp you may cast this from your library.

Duals with a supertype (such as Legendary or Snow) would not need to be DFC. The supertype and different name differentiates them enough from the originals to avoid reserved list trouble as they would be functionally different.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
i think we may have seen all the DFC lands except red at this point (5 nonlegendary colorless ones, 5 legendary colored ones = 10?), so im really wondering what red one will be...
arena feels more like a green ability than red, but maybe something like it that also taps for red....? pirates and dinos both are into combat...
bazaar of baghdad variant that also taps for red feels more likely for red rummage flavor? but the trigger ability for enchantment tieing to that doesn't seem to match flavor of Ixalan and what red is doing.
perhaps a color swapped lake of the dead in red even??? though i think the green cradle and the lost vale are plenty of rampy dfc lands.
so...valakut the molten pinnacle damage dealing land? i think thats my top pick. matches the flavor the most. BOOM! though ramunap ruins feels similar...
BONUS: where's my land that can trigger enrage every turn? maybe the red DFC will do that somehow...
i also like the idea of a cycle of dual lands that transform from very cheap artifacts easy to flip. fetchlands with no shuffling? yes please. something like:
Taiga Map
3 cost artifact
when ETB, target creature you control may explore
costs 1 less if you control a mountain
costs 1 less if you control a forest
t, pay 1 life: transform into a Taiga
i suspect this is still too good as it bypasses the land drop and is too akin to a rampant growth for all colors...hmmm
I think the red enchantment could transform into Rishadan Port - tapping lands is an effect that I imagine red could do sometimes (not exactly, but Reduce // Rubble is the kind of effect that makes me think it could happen).
Temple of Aclazotz [ Diamond Valley ]
Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun [ Gaea's Cradle ]
Spires of Orazca [ Maze of Ith ]
What is on everyone's "want list" for a DFC land? I am thinking the gloves are coming off this time...
My list:
PS - go for it, go beyond the Reserved List (I did )
Otherwise, my first two picks are Diamond Valley (which we are getting) and Volrath's Stronghold. Beyond that, I would like to see Winding Canyons and Bazaar of Baghdad.
Yeah, go beyond the RL - I updated my OP to include that info. Just realized the Maze of Ith DFC isn't on the RL. Let's just watch the show unravel!
And the flipside is immense due to those sides were mean't to be masterpiece art u til they canceled it
They said what the hey let's do a loop, hole of still using e art
But anyway you missed one
serra's sanctum

"Discard 3 cards, T: Draw 2 cards."
You wouldn't even have to make it that hard to flip. It's not totally clear that there will be a full cycle, though.

Tower isn't on the reserved list. But it is a good choice.
Personally, I'd like to see any of the following:
City of Shadows
Elephant Graveyard
Griffin Canyon
Island of Wak-Wak (That also taps for blue)
Lake of the Dead
Mishra's Workshop
Scorched Ruins
Yavimaya Hollow
In addition to the others listed earlier in the thread.

Tolarian Academy that taps for u
Serra's Sanctum that taps for w
Sorrow's Path but paying 2 life is a cost to activate the ability, not dealt to you if you tap it for mana.
Bazaar of Baghdad
Island of Wak-Wak
Arena probably tap for r
Oasis
The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
,or maybe we'll get really lucky, and they will bring back bands with other legends.
WHAT!? Wizards needs to get on that then, I need a foil for my Prossh deck ASAP.
