Count me as someone that would like to see some new Dwarves as well. I also see dwarves as red, though one way they could move them in the direction of white would be to play up their proficiency for making fine weaponry and armor. Equipment focused abilities usually fall in the white slice of the pie, but I see no reason it can't become a red thing instead, white already has enchantments. It seems like Wizards has been looking to add to red's design space lately, why not start printing Dwarves more frequently (in red) and switch equipment abilities to red? It's not like it hasn't been done before (Godo, Bandit Warlord).
Well Purphoros was God of the Forge and all...
That said, Dwarves would fit very nicely into Boros colors.
I just hope there are goblins in Red. Not necessarily as a main tribe, but goblins would fit well inside a plane at war. And recently they haven't been printing a lot of goblins.
I believe we're going to see Shamans, Warriors, Barbarians, and Soldiers as heavily pushed. Ogres seem to be a part of this block as well in red. It looks like goblins and elves may not make it into the set, while pushing human tribal more. The last block had a lot of humans, shamans, warriors, and soldiers. Which would mean that the block would perhaps push that way in regards to tribal. Either way, we'll know come M15 what the major outlook is.

Life is a beautiful engineer, yet a brutal scientist.
R Barbarians (The obvious one) W Dwarves (Since Maro has been talking alot recently about moving them to White) G Elves (since Nissa is being promoted) B Zombies (Undead Warlord) U Note sure about this one but it needs to fit cunning - Merfolk maybe?
I also think it will have artifact tokens in it to represent weapons and gold which would fit well with Dwarves also..
A lot of these answers just list random classes and races in their usual colors without regard to Tarkir. That is not speculation, that's just random guessing.
Obvious prominent classes are barbarian and shamans, since those are the two classes directly associated with Tarkir. I don't believe that a plane dominated by barbarian warlords will limit either class to one color, though. Both classes will probably heavily feature in all Jund colors. Among races, humans, goblins and orcs/ogres are already announced (assuming the large gray-skinned humanoids on the promo art are either orcs or ogres, which I believe to be the case). Goblins, orcs and ogres are all Jund too, if not Rakdos.
I would love dwarves to show up, and if they do I would expect them in red (berserkers, warriors) and white (clerics, soldiers). Soldiers and warriors will likely show up in all colors (except I wouldn't expect blue warriors), as large warbands are everywhere in Tarkir. Samurai I expect as well, as Mongolia is at least Asia, so fantasy Mongolia might as well have pan-Asian influences. And after all, Bushido is supposed to return. The armor of the warriors on the artwork looks sufficiently samurai-esque to me.
So I guess my speculation for prominent tribal groupings are:
White: Human/Dwarf Soldiers and Samurai (some Strategists and Clerics)
Blue: Human Strategists, Samurai and Soldiers
Black: Orc/Ogre Warriors, Barbarians, Shamans and Berserkers
Red: Human/Orc/Ogre/Dwarf/Goblin Warriors, Barbarians, Shamans and Berserkers
Green: Goblin/Human Scouts, Barbarians and Shamans
Dragons will show up en masse by the third set of the block but will be absent at first.
There has to be at least one more blue race besides humans, but I can't think of one that would fit Tarkir. Elves in green would not surprise me, especially if we really get dwarves and orcs.
None of these will be weirdo humanoid cats like leonin or catfolk or nacatl or such, they'll all be proper quadrupeds! Tigers, lions, housecats, panthers, jaguars, lynxes, cougars (not the old lady type), cheetahs, ocelots, and more! We'll have black cats, Schrodinger's, Cheshire, cait sidhe, nekomata, ash-cats, and servants of Bastet!
We'll have cats in every color pair, every wedge, every mono color one drop and colorless, big cats, small cats, kittens, magic-cats, cat spells, catnip, catastrophes, catalysts, cat-lords, cat-ladies, tomcats, strays, bobcats, space-cats, ceiling-cats, grumpy-cats, longcats, flying-cats, lucky-cats, unlucky-cats, 9-lives, lolcats, cat-food, kitty-litter, laser pointers, and crazy old cat ladies!
It'll be like the internet incarnated into a card game, minus the porn and boring stuff!
Determining Wedge Tribals could be tough. Obviously Dega is White, Ceta is Blue, Necra is Black, Raka is Red, and Ana is Green.
So if they're going with Race Tribals we might have five tribes in three colors each. Alternatively it could be Class Tribals (my suspicion) in three colors each. Enemy cards should be interesting thematically if you end up with Mono Color splashed by an enemy allied pair as was done in Apocalypse.
Dega, Necra, and Ana previously had a Human link which would have humans to play with as usual. This is fairly minor though.
Ceta previously had a Merfolk link which would have some play with Theros' Tritons.
Raka previously had a Minotaur link which could tie into Theros Red-Black Minotaurs somewhat.
I think Nomads in Dega, Wizards in Ceta, Zombies in Necra, Barbarians in Raka, and Shamans in Ana is fairly plausible. You're almost inevitably going to have zombies. Wizards seem more likely than artificers for a blue class. Nomads are solid for white and they're thematic. Barbarians are solid for Red and they're thematic. Shamans or Druids, but more likely Shamans are solid for Green. Will that be it? No idea.
do we have any reason to suspect it will be a multicolor set? I'm guessing it won't since Ravnica is near, but I would love it to be. But if Wedges were the case, then they would be so exciting for MaRo they would be one of the two things he'd spot. Definitely wedges aren't back after a long absence, and also.. to call Wedges is something they've never done before... seems weird, since we do have cards from these color alliances.
It would only be multi coloured if it were a hybrid set like Lorwyn and not true multi coloured.
Blue seems like it would have a hard time finding a home in nomadic wastes. I can't really think of a tribe that fits that but since it is more bottom up then they could squeeze it in. Its not abrabian desert its mongol desert so a cold desert. I guess they would just have to find a way to fit the sea into the idea of the world.
Wedge Cards from what little we saw of them in the past were not necessarily multicolor or hybrid. Some cards might be, but most of them would presumably be Monocolor to cast and then have the secondary colors as additional costs to get more. So your Dega could have a 1W card which has one ability for R: and one for B,[T]:
I doubt the whole plane will be steppe. The faction we saw on the teaser thing would most likely be from a plateau sort of region. Mountains, plains, and swamps.
I mean its going to be like Alara except without the shards.
