+1: look at the top three card of you library, put one into your hamd and the rest to the buttom of your library
-2: deal two damage, divided as you choose to target creatures or players.
-10: you gain an emblem: "whenever a player plays an instant or sorcery, copy that spell. you may choose new target for that spell"
Red and blue aren't characteristic for making tokens.
To be honest a PW making token is like playing a creature.
And blue have Talrand's Invocation and red is actually a token color (there's dozen of 1/1 goblin maker cards, 3 in this t2). Call the Skybreaker is a token generating hybrid (red and blue).
-3: Target player skips their next untap step unless they have Ral Zarek deal 4 damage to them. Draw a card.
-7: You gain an emblem with "Whenever an instant or sorcery spell you control deals damage, it deals that much plus 8 instead."
I wanted to make him rather vulnerable once he comes out on the battlefield, but extremely strong if he could stay alive. His plus ability is just a standard card cycling skill, while his minus is a mash up of prophetic bolt and stasis. His ultimate is pretty much a game ender in terms of brute forcing damage through with spells like searing spear or what have you.
I am so anxious at this point. He has been anticipated since Magic 2012 on Xbox. I really hope he is a great card. The first R/U walker is a huge hype! He needs to be more than "ok that can be good" but something that strikes you as ," dang I want to play those colors!"
Originally I thought Electrolyze for the minus ability but I think the (-3) I came up with is cooler. Almost certainly he will have something to do with spells.
I posted a ral zarek design a while ago, lemme see if i still got this

+1: Until your next upkeep,The next time an instant or sorcery would but put in your graveyard after resolving, exile it onto ~.
-X: Copy target instant or sorcery exiled on ~, where X is that spell's converted mana cost.
-4: Draw X cards and ~ deal X damage to target creature or player, where X is the number of spells exiled onto ~.
His ult is low because its meant to be reused and is nearly worthless early on. Thoughts?

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?
Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.

Giving Overload to things that don't have overload messes a lot of things up. Note that the suggested emblem doesn't make Electrolyze do any more damage, for instance.

Every color has the ability to make tokens, blue and red just aren't creature colors so they don't get it often. Krenko, Mob Boss, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Talrand, Sky Summoner, etc.

I'd be glad if Ral Zarek is as good as Ajani Vengeant (the best red walker currently printed, IMO). I want him to be Modern-playable fairly badly.
Sure feels like Jace, the Mind Sculptor.
