I love how almost everyone is trying to make this out to be a ridiculously broken set. You have to believe that there will be fillers because they aren't going to move down $30-50 rares to uncommon. They aren't going to drop $15 uncommons likes Vial to common.
They will not adjust the rarity of staples down.
You might hope for it, but it wont happen.
We can only hope thoughtseize becomes an uncommon, which it should be according to current limited ratings, but it will be tough for wotc to do since it would effect the monetary value of people's collections in a pretty big manner
Also removal spells such as helix/path, will never go to common status, since this set is geared for limited use.
Any common removal spells, would be the spells that originally had that rarity (lightning bolt f.e. and faiths fetters). The latter might be dubious, since it is universal removal.
The speculation becomes hard when it comes down to cards like maelstrom pulse f.e.
If you look at RTR, you think it will stay rare. However abrupt decay/detention sphere were probably rare because it was a cycle, since Supreme verdict could not be printed under rare, and neither could loxodon smiter.
Isimaru is also an example of a card that probably will get downsize in rarity, but never from rare to common, in fact no card will see 2 shifts in rarity.
In fact nonbomb creatures have the most chance to be shifted down in rarity. However I am afraid cards like vendillion clique are elligible to go to mythic status.

The Internet was a revelation to me, I never imagined there are so many idiots on this planet.
It's really strong in my Tron deck, so yes, it sees play. Only problem is that it's from Zendikar block, and Modern Masters are reprints from Eighth Edition through Alara Reborn...
I hope to see Urza's Mine/Tower/Power Plant (only blackboard print was in Antiquities) and Chromatic Sphere in Modern Masters, but these are perhaps considered to be uncommon in Modern?
It's absolutely ludicrous to think that Maelstrom Pulse or Thoughtseize could be put to uncommon. Some people just don't believe targeted answers at all should be Rare, but they're wrong.
Abrupt Decay and Detention Sphere, and there ilk, are not rare because they're a cycle, they're a cycle because they're rare and BOMBY. that's a big difference.
While it's very important for Wizards to keep some things like Doom Blade and Unsummon and Lightning Bolt types at common, they also have the right to print either powerful-but-narrow or powerful for how un-narrow they are alterations of basic effects like this. I actually could see a small case for Duress to be printed at uncommon, but I think it being printed common so many times would upset a few people.
The difference between Uncommon removal and Rare isn't 'Target' vs. 'Wrath' though-- Thoughtseize COULD be an uncommon by today's standards, yes, but the Chronicles Issue is very relevant there, and pretty much no other cards of this type really have incorrect rarities.
The good rares will not become Mythics, and they won't be uncommons either. Not the staples anyways.
I could honestly see Ravager get printed as an Uncommon or a Mythic though. The creatures are a lot less easy to guess the rarity shifts on than the non-creatures. He will probably stay a normal Rare so that he is reprinted just enough to get a hold of a playset before going back up.
I am probably every color-combination it is possible to be, though it's really hard to figure out what it would mean to be 4-colored....it doesn't seem logical to be 4-colored without being 5-colored.

Mental Misstep, not Force Spike.
I'm assuming that is a given too. What's sad, is it's the most expensive card from shadowmoor.
