This thread is to keep track of what future shifted cards are still up for a possible reprint. I will update this thread as time goes by and we cross cards off the list.
to be honest i would really like to see the steamflogger boss come back and some contraptions to boot i would like to see that be a playable deck just for kicks.

woooooowww lol i totally just looked at every single link... then read the last sentence with the alternative link... lol i feel dumb... maybe u should put that before each seperate link
Yah, it is too bad that R&D said contraptions were never coming, because it has a lot of potential.
So the obvious answer to me is Darksteel Garrison. Fortify is another ability with a lot of potential in my eyes, and I predict it will come with every new block. Seeing how this one has darksteel in the title, and darksteel is found on the Mirrodin plane, theres finally a real chance.
The other obvious ones are Sacromite Myr and Vedalken Aethermage
I don't think there will be specific reprints; rather, they may use an idea from here, ie, Fortifications. Even so, I wouldn't hold my breath for that, either.
We frankly are WAY past the threshold for cards being designed with specific sets in mind. Dryad Arbor was designed to preview the idea of a land block and to show that there was a lot of land design space, it was cut from Zendikar. Nacatl War-Pride was a preview of Naya and Alara but was cut from the set because GGG in a card at uncommon was too heavy for a gold set. If designs were that far off for sets that close to FutureSite then I don't think we will get too many more.
I'm not saying that these cards can't ever show up in future sets but if they do it will only be because they fill a need that the set has, not because they were meant as a preview of that place.

personally Nix looks like a mirrodin possibility, among a few others, with artifacts surely there will be 0 cost ones and the art to me looks like disassembled artifacts. The flavor text hints at a plane that was created such as mirrodin, too.
I'll point out that the farther you go from Future sight the less likely cards are to get reprinted. Alara already missed it's reprint, and it seems likely that the colored artifact gimmick that was meant for scars was used in Alara (meaning the myr might not get reprinted). Though it's unknown if Scars will have colored artifacts.
After Mirrodin i think if we see any future shifted cards get reprinted it will be because by chance they fit into the set's theme.
Alot of them just aren't going to get reprinted. Which is exactly what they said would happen.
Don't forget that Ghostfire was a RoE preview. They're still using Future Sighted cards as hints, but there hasn't been a reprint of a Future Sight card since Lorwyn block and I doubt there will be any more direct reprints. I really hope the Victorian theme you see in a lot of the Future Sighted cards are actually for a set.
Nix was more of an option in Zendikar block IMO because they had alternate costs for trap cards like ravenous trap, mindbreak trap, etc. etc. where you paid no mana. Although if affinity returns, I could definitely see it getting in there.
Personally I would love to see delve as a block mechanic since it has so many possibilities. Also has interblock synergy with fetchlands in zendikar. That and tombstalker is a beast.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
IF a card gets reprinted, which I find unlikely because I feel that Darksteel Garrison was a 'hint' at a return to Mirrodin. Not the card itself, but the flavor as Darksteel is found solely on Mirrodin IIRC.
However, if there was another hint hidden in Future Sight, Narcomoeba or something to some similar degree due to the speculated 'mill theme'.

Yes, with milling, cards hit the graveyard and design space is opened up for stuff like Narcomoeba. Also this opens the gates to possible Gravestorm action like Bitter Ordeal.

R&D never said contraptions were never coming. They said Steamflogger Boss was conceived as a joke. Aaron Forsythe said he doesn't expect assemble and contraptions to ever be made but that's a far cry from never doing them.
In all seriousness, I could see goyf being reprinted soon. They could make him a new creature in new mirrdon. They could make him the chase rare in the new set. Wouldnt mind Tombstalker either. The delve mechanic could be the reworked mechanic too. Some type of colorless burn/direct damage spell would be nice. So many good cards that would be nice in this standard environment. I really hope to see some come back, at least as functional reprints.

1. Gofy will never be in a set again 100%, they said it was a mistake, and he will not be reprinted. No one need talk of it again, otherwise....well....they are dumb.
2. The myr card, the blue artifact one, i think it's safe that was the mirrodin tip off card.

The Tea Party is the working class fighting against the man fighting for the working class.
It's called EDH kids, there is no such thing as commander.
I guess from the list, the only "previews" that are obvious are Darksteel Garrison and Sacromiyte Myr. They preview the return to Mirrodin at least from a flavor perspective.
The other one I can think of are the cards that have varsatile flavor and not too limited mechanics (no keyword) such as Emblem of the Warmind.. cards like these can appear in any block.

Darksteel Garrison - mainly the fortification idea - was made for ravnica, and then become the planeswalker card type. But yes, the darksteel is clearly from morodin.

I too would love to see the grandeyr cards back mostly cause it would mean that we would be returning to domaria. Each of them has something to do with domaria so I'd imagine it would be tough to print them without returning. As for other cards with the machnic, I would doubt there will be anymore. Its a good machanic and has a lot of room for things it could do but it would need the right setting of a set to use it again.

I agree that Sarcomite Myr and Darksteel Garrison are pretty much obvious to be in this block, or that they are at least from Mirrodin(darksteel is only found there, and myr were created there as vigilance drones for Memnarch)
I thought mirrodin was a man made plane would'nt that mean there is other places to get darksteel. I would agree though on the garrison, that one is pretty obvious to be related to mirrodin.

Sarcomite Myr was a preview of Esper and thus isn't likely to show up. If colored artifacts are part of SOM it could but it is far from a guarantee.

Fateseal mirrors scry, which first appeared in Mirrodin. I think it would be a pretty neat throwback if it was included.
