What we're doing here is akin to taking the text of Moby Dick, locating specific words therein, rearranging them to create a passage from Fight Club, and concluding from this evidence that Tyler Durden is based on Ahab.
Here's to hoping it's just a glitch. The Azorius Guildmage was specifically mentioned in official correspondence which was transcribed on the official website, so I'd be quite surprised if it didn't show up.
I find this odd, as we already have the art for the azorius guildmage.
Really odd. Espacially since i dont think they would break a ten card cycle so... unceremoniously.

I think you mean "PoN", but it seems to me that "PwN" is more appropriate
(the 'w' stands for 'win', I think)

I think that WoTC felt that a lot of the players thought Standard was becoming mundane and a joke from all the nuked cards floating around. R&D took a vacation, and MaRo just started reprinting things.
The lack of a Blue and White hybrid cost of a guildmage is what puzzles me the most. Maybe if the same search is performed in a day or two, it will yield positive results.

Even so, there should still be three results for guildmage. Someone suggested Radkos Cultist, but why would they break the names of the cycle like that?

It's time to get out of the desert and into the sun.
The simplest answer is they forgot the guildmage on purpose, just like last time they added flavor text. It's made to shock everyone before they add it tommorow or the day after.

the orb has been on for less than 2 hours and we've already found a glitch. Granted, Wizards was probably just messing with us, but it was still impressive. as for the 2 appearances of w/u, its in the reminder text of the other two hybrids.
Sure, stuff like Snapping Drake and Goblin Piker are for limited. But Null isn't even playable against a 5 year old whose hand consists of a 6 of Clubs, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Chimney Imp, and a very large cumquat.
appears in the reminder text on each hybrid card. I guess they forgot the guildmage?
Supposedly (obv, not for sure) there's no reminder text in the Orb.
I'm in the "it's an error" camp. They mess up something every time, and this cycle has been lauded too much for them to break it for no apparent reason.
Y'noe what? Check the exact name for all the guildmages, they aren't there. Something must be wrong with the orb.

The Orb only works if you enter one word at a time - how are you supposed to check the "exact name?"
Really? I didn't know :xd:

This member has been found guilty of ripping a number of users on MTGSalvation. As a result he has been banned on this site and all his positive feedback has been removed. The MTGSalvation Staff wants to strongly encourage you NOT to trade with this member ever again in whatever situation might come up.
People, for Christ's sake, stop speculating about it and read the threads about Orb and Partial Spoiler. It was explained ten or more times there.
No offense here, but doesn't that seem like an odd thing to say in the Speculation forum?
Maybe you're right and they goofed up. And maybe they changed things. We won't know until the Orb gets fixed or the spoiler gets finished. Might as well wait and see.
Perhaps they are not glitches as much as they are simple oversights for cards that are going to be previewed in articles? That would make sense if they wanted to keep things under wraps.
That wouldn't make sense, I think. Orb, as it is, is quite useless in figuring card texts from first principles (at least at first). It's main use is to prove or disprove other info.
But it's actually interesting that the longer the Orb is running, the more bugs there are

= 2
2:symwu: = 1
3:symuw::symuw::symuw: = 1
So I'm hopping that it's a glitch that's making the :symuw::symuw: look like individual symbols... rather than a creature with a activated ability
Edit: never mind the single :symuw:... they're part of the reminder text, I guess.
:symr::symu: Reality Bites
:symr::symu: Delver Cyclops

Does pose an interesting question considering w/u had 2 hits and 2w/u had a hit. Could Azorius be getting a cheap or more splashable guildmage?

NO.
This is a glitch. There is missing the name, the cost, even the reminder text instances for "paid" and W/U. Three proofs.
The Rakdos hybrid rare is missing from the orb as well. (another instance of "paid" missing)
