their are no Ninjas in the BoK book... just mentions of Storatami Shinobi and Samurai and how the Moonfolk are the best in Kamakawa at the two mentioned arts... but have we seen a Moonfolk Samurai or Ninja? No... so keep your fingers crossed that we do see them in SoK... and SPSB... I don't even want to count how meany things were wrong with that post... the Humans are EVIL Konda is and EVIL Foolish man... Ninjas are NOT evil...

Blade-Tail, Skullsnatcher 3B Legendary Creature – Rat Ninja
Well the only real problem I have with the card you presented is the name... Blade-Tail is the name of one of the Kitsune samurai that helps to protect Michiko. I guess there could be a rat named Blade-Tail as well, though rat's don't have names like that very ofter it seems

Good point. The Nezumi seem to have names that revolve around body-parts (ie Ink-Eye, Nighteyes, Stabwhisker), and Marrow-Gnawer seems to be an action. I changed it to have to do with teeth, to move away from a Kitsune theme for names. I hope that's more acceptable.
I'm hoping for some more Nezumi. I really like Rats. I was looking over that little product survey for Champions, and I think there was a question that involved creature type without mentioning the Nezumi. I hope the anthropomorphized Rats stay around. I think Dirty Wererat is the only other one and the theme of all Rats being small and having relatively small abilities (or 'swarm' abilities) is awfully annoying.
That said, though. I've noticed there have been as many of the 'Big 5' races for this block as in the Mirrodin block. That one was so artifact heavy, though. Harumph.

I'm guessing there will be a card like this in Saviours:
Kumano's Global Red Enchantment of Clunkiness
3RR
Enchantment
Whenever a creature an opponent controls is dealt damage by a source you control, remove that card from the game if it would be put into a graveyard from play this turn.
okay we'll have michiko, daughter of konda in white with some sort of samurai or spirit related ability(samurai because they protect her and spirit because of her association with that which was taken).
hopefully as many people have mention we'll get a blue samurai(probably moonfolk since they're mentioned in the books) so as to give every colour at least one.
we won't have any new ninjas, or if we do it will be only 1 (ninjitsu is a set/not block mechanic. like darksteel's modular which only had 1 use in 5th dawn, or legions slivers which only had 1 in scourge).
terashi of the sun will get a card, it will be big flying and white.
hopefully some of the books kitsune get cards.
there will be another cycle of flip creatures(well at least 1), it won't be colour change because that's probably to complicated, but since CoKs went creature ~ to legendary creature ~, and BoKs went creature ~ to legendary creature spirit, it might be that SoK's will go from creature spirit to legendary creature ~.
a spirit becoming a living thing is a strech, but it could be possible that there would be gold cards with one side have an ability for one color, and the other have an ability for another... not sure how that would work to be honest, but it could happen.
Watch the set will degenerate and become one of the least playable sets in history....
Oops, for a second there i forgot i love Kamigawa. All in all the story should be good, hopefully the last few legends mentioned in Flavour text will appear. If they leave any legends from the story line, or flavour text out... i shall be annoyed. This is supposed to be a legend block, and yet they managed to leave some out while putting in some no one heard of? I better see snowfur

Well, they said that ninja were only Black and Blue. And... this SERIOUSLY aint a white creature, and the Board doging... is typically blue :S
Now as for seeing Snow-Fur as a card... i dont think its that far-fetched. He could have some mass tapping ability, or MAYBE a propaganda-ish ability...would make sense, the enemies are too distracted to fight, or require extra umph in order to focus.

Daren Bader said he did art for Snow-Fur.
EDIT: Personally, I'm hoping that every source of flavor text in the block would have a card, but I doubt it. If the flavor and design teams are feeling particularly inspired, though, they could make it happen -- from my point of view as an experienced fan designer, the designs in Kamigawa block have been the best and most creative to date. There are a ton of cards in Betrayers that are either insanely elegant (like Crack the Earth or Ninjutsu) or completely flavorful (like Shuriken or Kentaro).
ya... but Foxes are white... :/ ps. any-1 like my fox legend posted a few posts up top?
Ehh... It's cool, but It's abilities, if I recall, are very Blue and Red. I like it, myself, but it's just not a remotely white card. Blast you, fickle color pie!
Oohh.. And poets... Any speculation on what exactly a poet would do cardwise? White makes some sense, but red? What would it do, deal damage because it's poetry's so bloody aweful?
Hey, who wants to have a Goblin Poetry slam with me soon? With special guest, Ku-Ku!

imho it's way easier getting a bushido - ninjutsu creature in black than in any other color combination.. according to the current color pie settings of course

I doubt if we'll see a Bushido-Ninjutsu. The only non-Samurai to have Bushido is Greater Morphling, and that from Silver-Bordered Land. Only Ninjas seem to have Ninjutsu.
I don't know if "Legendary Creature - ___ Samurai Ninja" will fit on the creature type line. Besides, would even a ochimusha turn to being a shinobi?
That would be interesting, though. But unlikely they'd print a non-legendary that was both, and it's not like flips from one to another make much sense.

Well, I also agree with the Soratami Samurai coz if you read the prolouge of the 1st book, you'll know that after Lady Pearl-Ear went past the room with Nagao and his soldiers, she was then in a room wherein Takeno, Hisoka, and a Moonfolk where there. This took place in Eiganjo Castle. This might be a possible hint that there will be Samurai in Blue. Also, about the names of the sets: Champions was first because it showed people of great importance, like Konda and Hisoka, Betrayers because it showed Humans becoming Spirits, so what to expect in Saviors:
- Konda, will probably have a change of Heart.
- People who turned spirits may side with humans
- there will be a new mechanic.
- Konda may finally get back that stone thing.
- Legends that may become cards:
Lady Pearl-Ear, Blade-Tail, Snow-Fur, Hayato, Uramon, Ku-Ku, Oku-Doku, Hoto, Jiro
- Takeno and Kenzo may have another card, Takeno becoming a Spirit, and Kenzo might have a change of heart, after his path to death was blocked by Yomiji.
no... in Toshis vision, Kondas daughter kills him and holds the stone over her head.

In my parodic version, there was a second Konda card that was less combat-oriented. I wouldn't be suprised if somehow there was a new variant on flip cards, too.
Oh yeah forgot one thing:
- I have a feeling that in the third book, Takeno's Spirit form will still be siding with Captain whatshisnameagain because of his strong ties. We might also see more Spirits siding with humans e.g. Tomoorow, Azami's Familiar. Also, about the flip cards, Champions had nobodies becoming great legends, betrayers had humans dying, so in Saviors? I personally think that we will have spirits that will mortalize themselves to become Non-Spirit creatures, and another card cycle (anything will work)
