If this list is real I am surprised by the lack of Damnation and Goblin Guide. After that there are a few "What the hell?!" type of cards like Clickslither or Psychatog at rare.
And no ZEN fetches like that mtg leak guy was talking about (can't remember if he got debunked or not).
Re-reading the list again, Goblin Matron would be an awesome inclusion. The foil versions are stupid high (~$100) since it was only ever a foil in 7th edition.
Fingers are crossed on the list being real just for Urza's Bauble I sent a couple to Chris Rush to get autographed since there isn't a foil version . . . and he passed away three days later, so I'm guessing I won't be getting those signed. A foil version would be nice.
If real, disappointed at lack of high tide. Give. us. foil. high. tide. WotC. It is super annoying to have an archetype named after the card and not have the card available in foil.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
What if the EMA version had new art commissioned? That would make more sense to me - keep the original art and first foil version in a limited-release and have a newer version that's less pimp but still increases supply in a booster set.
But that would make sense to me on the opposite. Make a new art version exclusive for the judges and then use the normal/already seen art for EMA.
Judge promos are expensive and exclusive, and I believe a new-art version would be more desirable than a foil version of the older one.
The opposite does also make sense. I'm just saying that I could see it either way - I know a number of Legacy players who would prefer that the "most pimp" foil version be the original art, but the argument is definitely there for your viewpoint as well. I can't see them reprinting it in EMA with the same art, though.
Calling BS on this. At the bare minimum no way this is the final list, maybe it's one of the first lists design was coming up with. It's an awful draft set with very poor archetypes and feels disjointed. I know the mods said they put changed up a few things so it would make sense why it feels this way.
- You have Stoneforge Mystic at rare, but no equipment at common or uncommon.
- You have The Rack and Black Vise in the same set at the same rarity.
- Having the wish cycle at mythic is extremely suspect, both for limited and value. Comet Storm might have no value, but at least it's good in limited. Bob might be terrible in limited, but at least he has value.
- You have Reanimate, Buried Alive, Oath of Druids, and Hypergenesis in the set and no mono green or mono black big dumb idiots to put into play.
- Goblin Chieftain is the FNM promo. I see no reason not to put it at uncommon when Goblins are a draft archetype in this list.
- You have Clickslither and True Name at rare for tribal, but no Elf tribal at rare.
Just as an announcement for everyone, the reason this is going up on April 1 is for plausible deniability. This list has been cut with some intentionally false cards to help hide our source's identity—the list we received was from a preliminary file and may not represent the final product, and as such posting the specific version we received could lead to legal action if we don't handle this carefully. However, I can confirm that the bulk of this list is accurate. We were always ready for the "lol April Fool's" thing, so I'm just posting this as a heads-up that it's a bit more than that.
Just following up on this to affirm legitimacy. We aren't at liberty to reveal the source, but they have provided us with rumors as far back as Ninth Edition.
It just really really REALLY depends on what cards you guys "replaced".
I mean, if we get the crap cards on the list, and it turns out that all the goodies are your inclusions, well, that's not very nice then
Could you tell us if you only replaced "sought after" cards with other "sought after" cards ?

You should have a look at the Mystics in the first Modern Masters set

Personally, I'm missing the common-reprints from very old sets, like Red Elemental Blast and its 3 friends (one red, two blue), or High Tide or Crop Rotation.
Well ... at least I got modern-framed Gamble, you can't have it all it seems
I'm hopeful the list isn't real. I would like to see Berserk make the list. Obviously it wouldn't be an uncommon like it was when originally printed, but that would be a little too good if it were.

Mythics in first MM were fine. Yeah, it would suck to open Ryusei or Jugan, but they were still clear first picks. Progenitus might have sucked outside of Tooth and Nail, but was still pushing $18 before MM's release.
I'm also pretty stoked for Imperial Recruiter reprint. I never bought one because of the price and the ugly white border, and I really dislike foils (even when they aren't the poor foiling process for promo stuff). So getting one for hopefully cheaper and black border is pretty sweet.

Hmm, we seem to just evaluate the dragons (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) differently then.
For me, opening one of them felt very bad
Maybe they were good picks in the draft, I honestly don't remember although I played a lot back then (maybe 5 drafts or something, which was a lot given the price of the packs ^^). Cunning Wish and Burning Wish see Legacy play, which makes them "ok-inclusions" I suppose. The others... yeah, they are bad.
But if the Rares and Uncommons are that good, I won't complain at all
I did a quick number crunch. This list would have Force of Will as card #51 of the set, but we know it is #49. Now, apparently this is not the correct list, but a tribute something very close, but on the other hand, today is April Fools day... bah, I hate this day.
The EMA cards are also going to be released in the new travel format:
<image removed>
I think they really missed the chance to sneak in something off the Reserve List in that image, since they're allowed to reprint anything off it as long as it can't be mistaken for a tournament playable card.
Crucible of Worlds
Gamble
Lotus Petal
Titania, Protector of Argoth
Chrome Mox
Sensei's Divining Top
Thran Dynamo
and Zuran Orb are all cards I'd love to get my hands on, IN FOIL!

I would be so sad if Baleful Strix was confirmed out of the set!
Strix and Deluge are the 2 foils that I want the most (other than Mana Drain, but 900 USD is not exactly a reasonable price).
Complete grain of salt given the day, obviously.
