If the spoil is true, I'm a little disappointed that the creature mode doesn't have deathtouch. The regeneration costing 1B feels strange since it requires BG to animate. But, regeneration will work better with Awaken than deathtouch would.
Thanks for the heads up.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I still think Raging Ravine is better for Jund. There are games he becomes immense.
Agreed, but a split would be the best. The worst part about Treetop Village in Jund is that it only taps for G in a very color greedy deck. This fixes that problem AND the regen ability helps it scale up in the late game. This new land wouldn`t replace Ravine, but it would absolutely have a place in Jund next to Ravine, and it would be an absolute house. I`d run 2/2 in a heartbeat.
I trust OblivionedOne by now, but I`ll keep thinking of this as a fake, mostly to curb my enthusiasm just in case it isn`t, because this card is precisely what I want the BG manland to be. For purely egoistical reasons I would be happier to see this card than I`ve been for anything since the Khans fetches. If I fall too much in love with this now, the letdown is going to be crushing. If it`s real, however, this will be the first card I`ll preorder ever.
Edit: What`s going on with confirmation? Lantern, have you heard from OP or not? I`m way too antsy about this to handle it like an adult
a lot of posters really want to exert power over someone else to alleviate the powerlessness they experience in their real lives. hence, lots of "FAAAAAAAAAAKE" posts.
What's strange is this is the exact card I spoiled 3 months ago for this block, probably same source. This forum needs to chill out ripping everyone who puts anything on this site, that's why I stopped revealing cards to this site at all. I had the expeditions over a week ago.
Possibly true. Are we lucky enough to get anymore spoilers from you?
Seriously wondering if some of the people calling fake on every potential leak they see are just plants from Wizards. We should really be erring on the side of giving people the benefit of the doubt so that people with leaks are more inclined to share them.
Yeah honestly you should. I spoiled 4 cards and the entire dual land set and then was instantly booed away because I didn't use 'proper' text whatever when describing a card. So I just left the spoiling zone. People just love to hate. Give this dude the benefit, even if he is just posting my post about this land.
So, can you tell us if emrakul is, infact, in the set? It looks likely based on the leak, but the lack of a white mythic in the set is strange.
Not exactly sure what the OP did wrong here. People asked for the source; it's an inside one, so the OP gives as much info as he can without risking the source's job. People continue to question the OP, so he states that he'll give the exact source to a mod. This isn't some holier than thou dismissal- it's standard behavior for protecting sources here. The diction doesn't even suggest superiority complex, which is the first thing some of you assumed for some reason.
Why not lead with "I have an inside source, I'll happily discuss it with a mod so you guys know it's legit"?
The OP posted a basic text layout for a card, which is woefully short of the set of stuff people look for when reading set spoilers; the first thing people do with spoilers is evaluate them to see if they're real, which involves set numbers, art evaluation, picture quality, source interpretation, etc., and none of that was offered. It took three separate responses from the OP to acknowledge that the lack of source was questionable, at which point a mod apparently got involved, and we still have heard nothing from what happened after that action was taken. Why am I so wrong to be thrown off by that?

I trust that whatever cards this guy spoils are true. Maybe not exactly as he words them, but he did spoil enough cards in BFZ for me to trust him.
My first reaction to the post was to check his posting history. What BFZ spoilers?
A) A mod got involved and hasn't locked the topic. We exchanged about 6 messages last night.
B) I think he's referring to OblivionedOne who I believe also spoiled this same exact card some months ago apparently. Oblivion as I recall spoiled a bunch of cards and was met in the same manner, people harassing him about the way e formated, lack of picture, his topics got locked.
Not all of us have pictures or scans. I in the instance saw someone playing with this card a year ago. I was unable to take a picture, sorry. Maybe if we're lucky OblivionedOne will start spoiling again, as I'm pretty sure his source is better then mine.

Well, then, I apologize for being less than polite in my earlier posts in this thread. Your posts struck me as deliberately withholding, which was frustrating, but it seems I misinterpreted the thought process behind them. Thank you for taking the time to bring us some as-yet-unreleased spoilers, then.

You have to understand what it looks like from anyone else's perspective.
1. TC has posted three times total outside of this topic.
2. Before he edited it, the land activated for 2 colorless, which was completely asymmetric to any of the other manlands.
3. He name dropped a source that anyone could have name dropped.
Is it real? Is it fake? Unknown. It very well could be real. But this phenomenon of actual legitimate huge leaks didn't happen at all during Khans block. Instead, we got tons and tons of fakes using preexisting artwork. Or things like the Ugin that was real (that there was a Planeswalker with that art) but all of the text was wrong. When people put way more work into doctoring a fake than some people do in their leaks, it isn't surprising that some spoilers are met with hostility. It's not about feeling powerless or being a Wizards plant.
The other manland are all overcoats due to awaken. Why would this one be super efficient at 3 3 for 2 mana? Doesn't fit to mean. I do expect revenue to be the ability buto the cost seems low
Cards range from bad to good in any cycle. The UG one is actually very good, it just hasn't found a deck. The BW is okayish, the RW is pretty weak and this proposed one looks will/would be the best one yet. Normal stuff.
Also, are you drunk?

I think the BW one is quite good. It's cheap to animate, and the life gain is relevant. I like it more than Lumbering Falls overall (although I do agree that it's the colors more than anything else that keeps it from seeing play).

Uhhhh...what?
I trust this guy. Going about the leak in a way as to not get someone fired means they're a good person. Citing their source publicly <<<<<<<<<<<<< Someone keeping their job
Extremely powerful. Like, wow is this super pushed. Jund in modern is going to auto include this. I would argue it's better than ravine because it costs less to activate and black and green are the main colors of jund as everyone should know by now.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
I don't understand why it is skewed towards black because of a black activation cost. Seems like it would be B/G hybrid and a colorless or even BG to regen...

It is, it's very good and absolutely an auto-include. It's probably not going to replace Ravine completely, but I'm debating whether to run 2/2 or 1/3 Ravine/this when this comes out if it's real, and I'm leaning heavily toward 1/3. Better mana fixing and regenerate to survive Bolt or chump block multiple times is a good trade-off for Ravine's grow ability, and if you don't need to regen, you can hold up Decay/Terminate in your opponent's turn. Ravine is rarely more than a 5/5 at most anyway, and a Bolt at the ready can often lock it down for several turns. As I wrote, this land is so good that I don't dare to hope that it's real.
Aa for the activation cost, it had to be two mana, it can't be hybrid and BG would be way too clunky when they want to push lands that produce colorless mana (and BGBG to activate and regenerate would put a huge strain on any mana base anyway). Regen is more black than green, and if it is indeed tailored for Jund, it's the main color of the deck. 1B makes more sense than any other regen cost to me.
Hopefully our friend can spoil the UR manland so we can be disappointed before Christmas.

I think the UR one is THE other candidate for a pushed card to sell this set to modern players. The real question is if it will be better than Creeping Tar Pit, which is a very tall order.

This is getting rediculous. Once again, BG has been given one more great tool to it's weaponry and RW got the short end of the stick just because. Yeah, yeah, i know awaken...
In commander they give us boring mechanics and in the competitive, where RW is truly about creatures and aggro they offer an overcosted as hell card...
Anyway, if this is real as it seems, it will be great and surely played in BG shells.
...Wow, that's an exceedingly douchey way of going about this.
It's most likely to protect the source. If the source could receive repercussions for this, it only makes sense that they wouldn't want to out them in a public space.
The UR one better be equally strong.
Don't worry, I'm sure it'll be immensely disappointing.
On another note, community members' responses to the OP are embarrassing and why I don't associate with a large portion of magic players.
Thanks for the spoiler if real.
