So now scry has been announced and the promos are usually uncommon does anybody think Serum Visions could be seeing an appearance as an uncommon? The promo does seem timed for Origins.
Obviously this has implications for standard and that is what I want this discussion to be about. If it will break the format then we can rule it out but if not then the possibility remains.
So I think blue is a little lacking. Obviously there's Anticipate which was hyped a little early but I think has fallen flat as being a true help for the consistency of blue decks. Esper dragons was a flash in the pan with the new green super star Den Protector just taking over. With things like Courser of Kruphix is green getting the better control cards? How is that fair? Is blue losing it's identity? Should it be in the back seat in the card advantage stakes? That seems a little off the color wheel.
I think Serum Visions getting a reprint in Origins is as likely as Path to Exile getting a reprint in Origins. Both are going to be FNM promos, to celebrate Modern Masters 2015. That will likely be the extent of their reprinting this year.

RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.

What is control even going to have left after Theros block? No Drown in Sorrow, no Hero's Downfall, no Dissolve. Silumgar's Scorn? A card that forces you to build with heaps of dragons.

So this is a nope as far as it being in Origins.
