Together with this and this, there is an additional kind of error I encountered.

I bought all five decks at a German online store. I received them today and unpacked a green deck in German language with a French oversized Freyalise in the front window. Everything else is normal. No missing cards or doubles.

I won't complain, but it's quite weird.

Are the decks supposed to come with one of each token? Because I got 4 of each Soldier and Kor Soldier in the White deck, but no Cat, Pegasus (the only one I really wanted), and Spirit tokens :/

Check the backs of those tokens.

I'd have expected the German card to have invaded the French box, but this is insane!

My 5-set should come tomorrow and I'm eager to find out if I've been blessed by the cool-misprint gods or the lame-misprint demons.

I bought a box of 5 from my LGS. When I opened it, the boxes were ripped at the top, but the cards inside were intact. The inner boxes were also damaged slightly. Finally, the Red deck was missing its decklist, but all five decks were intact.

I didn't have packaging errors just miss cuts. The second half of my green deck came miss cut to the point that the whole right hand border is missing.

My white box was missing the normal sized Nahiri. I am unstoked about it.

I have a feeling that there has been more precon packaging errors than before, or maybe I was just unlucky,but given that I had multiple packaging errors lately, I am thinking that the QA for packaging precons has gone down. I bought precons since 7th edition and here is the precons that is not correct in some way.

Legions Elvish rage. Snarling Undorak instead of Taunting Elf. All Elvish Rage decks have this error.

M12 Mystical Might. Some cards have some black spots on it.

M14 event deck extra card divider.

Theros Devotion to Darkness missing Child of Night.

Theros Blazing Beasts of Myth Child of Night instead of Satyr Rambler.

Commander 2013 Mind Seize, extra strategy insert instead of how to play guide.

Born of the Gods event deck missing card divider.

M15 Flames of the Dragon has 2 Wall of Frost. Strategy insert says it has 1 Wall of Frost and 1 Nimbus of the Isles. All decks have 2 Wall of Frost. Strategy insert is wrong, although this deck has 1 more uncommon compared to the other 4 M15 intro packs.

Khans of Tarkir Jeskai Monks. Void Snare and Plains instead of 2 Jeskai Elder.

Khans of Tarkir Event Deck. Extra Mardu Hateblade.

I am thinking that there is a possibility that there is some sort of packaging error in one of 5 C14 decks if I buy one of each. Back then, I didn't have to expect some sort of packaging error, but given that I have experience multiple packaging errors in the past couple of years, I am expecting there is at least going to be a packaging error. It is no longer that I am unlucky that I get packaging errors, more like I am hoping I get lucky by not getting any packaging errors.

I last year commander product, my oversized derevi, empyrial tactician card text is smudgy.

I this year's batch, my crown of doom has part of its rule text missing, as if the printer ran out of black ink. I doubt it is worth th ebother to try to get a replacement from Wizards?

I picked up the red precon last night, and as I was thumbing through the cards, I immediately saw three of the Mountains had very noticeable damage to the top left corner of the cards.

It looked like someone had dropped the cards from a decent height, they hit the ground with top left corner first, and buckled from the impact.

I guess if I'm going to have damaged cards, damaged basic lands is the way to go.

I haven't opened any of my decks yet (waiting to get the other 2) but the store I work at has a green deck with the oversized card upside down in the box.

My over-sized Teferi had several scrapes across the front of it.

Getting a set of 5 today. Hope all is well.

The only printing error I've ever gotten was a couple ROE packs that were noticeably off-center. I'm glad Wizards has completely eliminated printing errors since then, because my personal experience is always representative of everyone else's.

My friend opened up the black deck, and the entirety of it was mis-cut, and slanted to the point of being able to see the CMYK bars on some of the cards, as well as all the basic lands being mis-cut dimensionally so that one corner would stick out of sleeves.


He's likely going to attempt to sell it to some misprint collector for roughly 4 times what he payed for it.

If he left it sealed it would be worth around 10x what he paid. Opened lowers its cost substantially. I watched an entire miscut 1st gen sealed commander deck go for roughly 500 bucks on ebay.

What I can do with this? I miss Freyalise too. May be i should write about this? Can you give me e-mail?

How exactly do you know an entire deck is miscut *without* opening up the box or deck to inspect it?

It first and last cards were cut wrong, and the top/bottom of the pack had weird staggered patterns on them. You can see an example if you google miscut political puppets deck.

Fair enough, he couldn't see it was miscut until he opened it, it was one of those cases where the cards got gradually worse the further back in the deck they were.

I just got the red one and the normal size planeswalker is missing. Is there a way WotC can fix this? Like exchange?

I'm currently deployed and my set of all five Commander decks arrived today. In my green deck, 81 out of the 100 non-token cards are mis-cut. The tokens are all cut fine. All the mis-cuts are along the top edge; cutting all of, to most of all the top black border off. On several of the cards such as on Freyalise the cuts are bad enough that on the bottom you see a sliver of another cards image. The other decks are all fine.
