Also, how epic would it be if someone bought one of these, and youTube'd them throwing them into a blender? I bet that would get a couple hundred thousand hits.
So instead of wasting time waiting for these things to potentially show up on the website why don't you just go make some money so you can just buy one on eBay?

Hurr durr troll.
It is about cost v profit. If I can spend $60 and sell or have a tournament it is more profitable than spending $500.

It must REALLY matter to you what people do with their lives to make your 1st post in 3 years to complain about how people should live.
On topic: If we have a new wave coming out, will this lower the current price that we are seeing on Ebay?
Same here.... I'm paid to read whether its important or not.. I also don't covet these things enough to buy them off eBay, frankly if jace wasn't in there I would be doing something else.

I just find the whole thing really interesting. From the people who just want one to have in their collection to the people who want to make a bit of a profit to the people who think they should have been able to buy one. I really don't care what anyone does with their time, I just think this is an interesting piece of human drama happening here. Will they or will they not show up for sale granting a small portion the opportunity to buy one? How many are refreshing 24/7 hoping for that small opportunity. It's my first post in 3 years (I guess?) because I just don't use message boards very often.
Full disclosure. I bought one of these last Thursday at $220, it showed up in the mail yesterday. That was a gamble and a somewhat painful purchase. I was curious to see what they looked like. After seeing them I offered it for sale to my local community. If there are no takers back to eBay it will go.

Ha ha, I could never find Magic product on their site last week and haven't been back. The odds of seeing them if and when they go up and then actually being able to purchase one is so small. On the plus side, their CS department is getting quite a workout.

This post was much better than your last.
I am a collector, and I like turning my cards into "art." My 5th Anniversary my wife purchased me 1 ea. dual land from Revised/3ed. I am getting those matted and framed as well. I also intend on getting "business" cards signed by each artist and put underneath each card. These are going to go onto my wall into my office.

So why talk about cost v. profit? Spend $400 for your "art" and be done with it! Sounds like that would be a pretty cool thing to have on your wall.

Why spend $400 if you have a chance to get it for $60+shipping? Then if you miss out, you can still spend $400+. Someone needs to learn the value of a dollar and patience.
Would anyone play a game with these? If I see someone playing without sleeves and casts one of these ill have to buy him/her sleeves.
anyone who can afford these will either never take them out of the box or will have them sleeved in some EDH deck. You will never see anyone playing these cards without sleeves.

Depends... if the new wave is only 50 boxes? not so much. If the new wave is 500 boxes? Possibly some. If it's 1000+ obviously lower it a chunk.
Just an FYI.
