My friend who runs a Magic online Shop just told me that he's been sold out with this product and he's not able to order/get more anymore.
He had 60 boxes of Graveborn, and was able to get some more from Germany, so in the end he sold about 70 boxes and could have sold more!
Demand is huge! And the people love it here in Switzerland!
Most foils suck because they bend horribly unless you put them in sleeves and even then, they start to buckle. Thankfully, they have finally figured it out. This Graveborn set is they way all foils of the future should and better be. Without so much foil around the edges of the cards...they should now stay flat, at least a lot better than the old style. Plus, I like the look of these cards much better and am quite satisfied. Please do not stray from this style.
I'd just like to say that I'm really happy with this product- my Sphinx of the Steel Wind was ~very~ foil warped, and while that's unfortunate because it's the card I was looking forward to most besides Entomb it's probably just because I got the box from Wal-Mart. The Terastodon foil is absolutely gorgeous. Between New Phyrexia, Innistrad, Commander Precons and now this, Wizards is batting 1.000 in recent memory.
Don't know what you're talking about, but if it's different to the orig. Foil from Ravnica, would you mind to add a scan please?!
Fairly new, should I put the image in spoiler tags or is that size alright?
I don't have a scan or an original Ravnica foil to reference, but it's the little frame around the card name, art, and text box that is a bright silver.

Edit: Took a scan, put it up.
Thanks for sharing, have to wait several weeks until I'll be back in switzerland and can compare/crack the Graveborn cards...
But as far as I remember, my Ravnica Foil does not have this small frame in "silver". Just in common white...
I might be wrong on that... Someone here who own's a Ravnica Foil??

Sure, once I get home.
The last PDS foiling really emphasized the pinline around the cards, which is the "silver frame thing" that's been talked about. So you're probably correct - your RAV foil just has a regular white pinline, and this one is extra special. It's a little thing, but it's a nice touch.

After that I did an assessment and had found that the typical warp issues with the foils were not really an issue - I imagine that if there was just one pinhole in the plastic wrapping, the moisture may be drawn in threatening the 'flatness'.
I rather liked the foils on most of the cards (especially the multi-coloured ones) but generally think that some of the foil cards featuring darker-coloured arts don't have that wow-factor compared to cards with lighter-coloured arts.
Does anyone have any success at de-warping cards with a press / dessicant that nancientlich may get Sphinx settled down?
I went back a few pages and didn't see anyone commenting about the availability at big-box retailers. Has anyone seen these showing up at Target / Wal-Mart yet? I looked at a couple of stores over the weekend and haven't seen them there yet.
This deck looks ok for my casual needs. Besides, I can't think of what I could possibly remove to put in 2 extra entombs and 2 extra cabal therapy.
I did exactly the same for the 2 previous premium decks. It seems that 2 copies are more than enough to build a decent casual deck.
Could someone please give me some advice on this?

Yep, I saw a couple at one Target, but none at all the rest. I doubt they were gobbled up, and more likely just slowly hitting the shelves. Street dates aren't nearly the level of priority on these products for anyone but the brick and mortar game shops.
Btw, do I also need 4 reanimates? Or are 2 just enough?
Concerning the creatures, I don't want to use creatures from outside this "set" for 2 reasons:
1) Have a deck with similar foil cards
2) I do not wish to make an uber powerful deck. The level of competitiveness is about normal in my group. So, I do not want to overdo it with crazy combos
In that case, cut one of each of your bombs (giving you 7 slots free) and add 2 Entomb, 1 Reanimate, 2 Swamp, 1 Urborg Tomb of Yawgmoth, and 3 Animate Dead. Might also consider cutting down to 1 or 2 Buried Alive.
Entombs really, REALLY make this deck work.
Edit: I'd advise adding in disruption for the Buried Alive slots (Cabal Therapy, etc), but you don't want to make it too powerful, so I'd pick something that slows my opponent down for maybe 2-4 mana in case you get off to a slow start.
I have heard secondhand that these are selling infinitely better than Fire/Ice. Good for Wizards for putting a great product out. I'm tempted to just use the 2x I purchased at Legacy night for ****s and giggles.
Do you guys think that these will eventually get the 50% price reduction that Fire and Lightning got? I kinda want to get 4 of these, but I'm a little iffy about dropping so much on them.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
This is a fantastic product. I actually traded in my Legacy-ish casual Reanimator deck to my LGS and bought this as a replacement. I wanted a deck that had a little more flavor and was honestly slower, so I could have some fun in my casual meta. Great deck.
My only complaint is I don't get to Entomb much. I'm thinking about taking out one of the Diabolic Servitude and putting in a Diabolic Tutor or something. Something not to make the deck more powerful per se, but allow you to use the tools in the deck. The whole toolbox thing is awesome, but not so much when you don't get to cast Entomb, Cabal Therapy, Reanimate, etc.
I like how the deck sort of plays control early, then combos when it has the cards it needs around turn 3-4 (usually). Then every once in a while you draw a godhand and go off on turn 1-2. I really love the variance in play style and how the product feels a little different game to game.
Of course, someone reading this may feel completely different than I did about it, but I hope WotC does more decks like this.

I just had my PDS: Graveborn deck delivered to me on a silver platter by a hot naked elf. True story.
Anyway, now that I have it, here's a scan of the Graveborn Archon next to the Ravnica Archon. The background color on the Graveborn version is slightly darker, and as has already been noted, the pinline pops out in silver rather than the more generic white of the Ravnica version. Also, the text is one or two font sizes larger on Graveborn. The foiling of the border of the Ravnica version is more textured, while the Graveborn version is pretty much flat white.
More information than that, I don't think I can provide.

Thank you very much for that clarification.
Why is is that rise from the grave was not included in this set? Would that card not have been a perfect addition to it?

It looks like 4 casting cost was the upper limit with Diabolic Servitude and Dread Return. Everything else has a 2 casting cost or less.
Yes, that does make sense to me.

Probably because Rise from the Grave is inferior to the ones they included. It does seem odd, but I am not complaining.

You don't need so many big guys, especially if you have more Entombs.

^^ this. You should be tutoring for threats, so you don't need 2 of each. You could even take out 2-4 more threats to put in 2-4 more swamps.
Then I'd change out some of the threats with better ones (that didn't come with the deck):
-Verdant Force;
+Reya Dawnbringer;
-Avatar of Woe;
+Iona, Shield of Emeria
... or something like that.
Maybe one of each of the Akromas in the sideboard to complement the Sphinx's protection colours.
