Finally got around to visiting Goodgamery's spoiler thread, & they scooped us, what?! Axelrod mentioned this in the Spec forum, but it's buried. So. . . where did this come from? Is it real? Is it woooOOOOOOROROORROOO
Goodness that seems like too much work to be fake. But seriously is it even reasonable to say anything about this card without seeing its other side? No, there isn't.
Are you sure this is real? I mean, Garruk's flip side's border is completely different and they even wrote something about it (how with Garruk you can tell he's B/G due to the border while with this card you can't tell what the color of this side is). Plus it just seems so...weird.
Its still unconfirmed with a fair chance of being a good fake. The front side is not necessarily legendary- they made sure to say he was mythic, but not that he was legendary. They likely skipped legendary werewolves entirely due to the rules headache.
Reminder text for an evergreen keyword on a mythic? Really?
I said exactly that when trying to see if this was fake in the other thread, but on closer analysis, all mythics with hexproof have had reminder text so far
Its the only evergreen keyword that has actually had reminder text on a mythic, unless you count teferi who was really a rare

He did have a planeswalker frame, but we don't really have any precedent other than garruk- hes our only dual colored DFC. Sorin is a dual colored PWer but doesn't have a WB frame, and the other legendaries dual colored creatures have had gold frames too.

They skipped the legendary werwolf due to space considerations with Innistrad. Which makes me wonder how late in Innistrad's design/development this guy got pushed back, cause the undying keyword gives me pause.

Garruk is green on one side, black on the other though, right? This would seem to be gold on both sides.
This card seems totally plausible, and quite fun too. What's the big deal?
The interaction with flip cards and undying might seem confusing, but i'm sure Wizards will post some rule clarification, as they always do. This isn't anything new.

Well, no, they said they pushed back a mythic werewolf from INN to DKA, and this is it. But they didn't say it was legendary afaik

It was stated that the flip cards which were multicolored would have the hybrid border so it is easier to distinguish their colors. I think it might have been MaRo who said something about it. There is too much wrong with this card to be real. It wouldn't give itself the bonus plus it should have the hybrid border.
Where's my legendary werewolf?!?
Pretty awesome card just the same.
How good the card is depends on what the flip (day side) of the card looks like. So far, looks promising!
Yeah, that's the only thing that gives me pause. You could keep dropping the legend, flipping to this. . . risky, but tiiiight :howling:

Maybe the front side is. Which would be pretty baller since when flipped it gets past the legendary rule.

Garruk is Green on one side, Green/Black on the other.

ATM, we know that this is a render and not a scan. If this proves to be a mock up the thread will be reopened.
