Thank goodness spring break is coming up and the first couple weeks of school are slow so I can play a couple FNMs. This is an amazing promo and steve argyle is a tiny glowing diety among illustrators. <3
FINALLY Bloodbraid Elf has good art. YES! I've never wanted to play it (for mainly that reason), but I might try it now that the art's better (no kidding). GREAT trade fodder, at the least.
Well, at least no one can argue that the FNM card for April is unplayable jank or casual fodder. Always awesome when you can get promo copies of the best card in Standard at your FNM.
I think some people don't understand that the Mirrans are the bad guys. Arcbound Ravager is Mirran. Phyrexia are the good guys coming in to conquer an evil, evil world.
The only problem is that my local FNM likes to give them out to all players instead of giving 4 to the winner like you are suppose to. A little annoying when I can almost guarantee my victory lol.
So I don't play Naya, I don't play Jund. But this almost makes me want to switch my work schedule, just so I can get some of these. The art is absolutely amazing.

In fact, he's giving them in the incorrect way. The idea is 2 for 1st-2nd place (one each) and the other 2 at random for the other players.
If your local TO gives them as you say, consider yourself lucky about it.

One goes to the winner, one goes to 2nd, and 2 are handed out at random. The only place I've seen it done differently is my current regular shop that sometimes has 3 draft pods and does one to each pod winner plus one random.

Um wizards requires 2 are given out as random door prizes. and the other 2 are given out to 1st 2nd.
