Quick and probably easy but can't find the "official" rulings anywhere;
If I have a Clearwater Pathway on the field and then combo off with Worldgorger Dragon, can I chose the side that it comes back to or it has to be the same side it was before getting exiled?
Thanks!

11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature. - Maximillian Cohen.
It always comes back front aide up actually. The only time you get to have the back side is when you play it, be that from your hand, or because of something like Crucible of Worlds.
The best resource it to search for the card in Gatherer.wizards.com and check the notes at the bottom
"If an effect puts a double-faced card onto the battlefield, it enters with its front face up. If that front face can’t be put onto the battlefield, it doesn’t enter the battlefield."
So for Pathways you always get back the "front" face. If you had a Bala Ged Sanctuary in play instead and combo with Worldgorger Dragon, the card stays in exile permanently because Bala Ged Recovery isn't a permanent that can be on the battlefield. If it was a Kazandu Valley, though, you get the Kazandu Mammoth back.
