(Please feel free to move this thread to Opinions & Pools if it belongs there, but this thread is about discussing aspects of the new cards, so I think I’m not making a mistake by posting this here)
Title says it. Card art is one of the big reasons that keeps people playing magic. What art from the new set do you like most?
Some of my favourites:
Aerial Guide – I really like the strong sense of movement here. As soon as I look at it, a small video clip of the scene depicted here starts playing in my head. The colors are nice too – limited, but not boring.
Sidewinder Naga – There’s movement here too, albeit not as extreme as on Aerial Guide. It’s cool how the sand is forming warped Bolas horns in the distance.
Dune Diviner – The “droopy” hood of the Naga makes this piece. It conveys the sense of weariness really well.
Aven Reedstalker – Great setting and mood. It looks very ominous, especially with the river of blood in the background. The reeds and the curved blade give the Aven a grim reaper-like feel.
Scrounger of Souls – Its appearance, with its strange face and long limbs and all, is wonderfully surreal. It’s always nice to see cards that are a bit “out there” visually when most card art is always so “realistic” and consistent nowadays.
Manticore Eternal – Simple, but convincing composition and the character just looks cool.
(As you can see, most of my favourite art is on limited fodder ... why does it have to be like this? )
Apocalypse Demon is some of the best Magic art I've ever seen. Just looking at it makes me feel like I'm in an artist's imagining of The Divine Comedy.

As is Moaning Wall. Both arts by Piotr Jablonski are fantastic.
Traveler's Amulet is what caught my eye instantly.
White: Solitary Camel (love the composition). HM to Lemmings (Unconventional Tactics)
Blue: Aven Reedstalker. Just radiates mood all around. Tragic Lesson, for being, well, tragic. Note the despair of the viziers.
Black: Torment of Hailfire, Bontu's Last Reckoning, Merciless Eternal.
Red: Hazoret's Undying Fury, and the cards with Eternals (particularly Kindled Fury, Frontline Devastator, and Manticore Eternal. HM to Donald Trump. Disappointment: Puncturing Blow. For such an important story moment, the art is woefully bland.
Green: Sidewinder Naga, Life Goes On, Rhonas's Last Stand (once I realized the outline of Rhonas's staff there)
Multicolor: The Scorpion God (IMO the best art of the three, most menacing, perfect), from splitbacks Claim to Fame.
Artifacts: The said amulet, and Mirage Mirror thanks to the Neheb reference. Also Crook of Condemnation.
Lands: Hashep Oasis, Desert of the Indomitable.
