2. Her abilities are awesome. Her +1 is card advantage as long as you can get 1 or 2 creatures through. Her -2 is good disruption. Now her ult. See, I don't normally look too much at the last ability of planeswalkers. Mainly because, I know you should never rightfully get it off outside of some sort of combo. But this cannot be ignored: for -7, you get 3 cards and you get an emblem that let's you cast any spell for no cost! I mean...wow.
3. Her CMC is 4. Yeah, three mana symbols but still, for what she's bringing to the table that's a small price pay.
Overall, she sounds pretty darn good if you ask me. Also, anyone else noticing when WotC make a tri-colored walker, they seem to be at least decent? I mean, they are good planeswalkers for mono and dual colors but there's also not so good ones as well. It seems like when they make a tri-colored walker, more thought goes into it...
Nor do you even need to be doing the damage. You can target opponents creatures to make it a pain for them to attack. Also very good with double strike.
She's good, but I feel like people are overrating her quite a bit. She strikes me as a bit win-more. Her +1 does not protect her, it just gives you cards to replace her when your opponents attack her. And they will. It's better to give you a few cards than to let you tick up to her ultimate. Her -2 is pretty decent to push through damage or stall but can't protect her for long.
So while she's good, what deck wants her? She dilutes a Collected Company strategy but one or two copies might be good for the long game. She doesn't protect herself enough for a control strategy. She could help give a Bant midrange deck consistency and finish with creatures. I don't see her getting a lot of Modern play. I'd put her in my Roon Commander deck.
Im someone who has already done many playtests with her.
& at very first i gotta say shes a support Planeswalker like Nissa. Both of her abilities are best with creatures on your side. Without she still yields you 1 - 3 cards to attacks.
But with, she yields you 1 - 2 cards a turn while growin loyality. Thats really GREAT, especially when you can harness opponents creatures 2.
-2 i rarely used it. But its a nice tempo-move, synergizez with +1 & fogs for 2 turns, if youre not 2 far behind.
-7 was surprisingly less useful than i thought. Simply coz i played her in Aggro & my spells were affordable anyway.
But yea, in a Tempo Deck, she was a really great support card, that HAS to be played !
Bant company doesn't really have room for another 4 drop, I think.
Could Ojutai's Command be replaced?

712.5b The controller of another player can't make choices or decisions for that player that aren't called for by the rules or by any objects. The controller also can't make any choices or decisions for the player that would be called for by the tournament rules.
Example: The player who's being controlled still chooses whether he or she leaves to visit the restroom, trades a card to someone else, agrees to an intentional draw, or calls a judge about an error or infraction.
great walker, with her colors, i think its safe to say she can be in a deck. 2 of's as if not mistaken, blockers get you CA's is not bad or not attacking you at all. i can sense her being played in bant eldrazi's

While I do like staying grounded and I thank you for that, you may be underestimating the conundrum that Tamiyo puts their opponents in.

I actually had this entire thing written up to show that the worst case is indeed bad (but no worse than for almost every other PW)... only to notice that I had mistakenly thought her initial loyalty was 3, not 4.
About all I can say now is that she needs creatures to work. But give her that and I fail to see how she's outstanding.
I think she's good, but the competition at the 4-drop slot is probably just too stiff in Standard atm given that she really wants to be played in the same spots as Collected Company does (i.e. beside all of those excellent 2-3 mana value dudes in Gx) and that's probably just a better card. So maybe post-rotation she picks up some slack left in its wake? Or maybe in the current Standard she'd be worthwhile in a similar Bant midrange deck that plays some of the good 2-3 mana dudes (thinking stuff like Advocate and Tracker) but doesn't want to run the requisite # needed to support CoCo.
On the casual side she's a great fit for my Bant-walkers control deck in EDH, where the first two abilities are ok and the ultimate is fantastic and quickly attainable.
People keep looking at her as slotting in to bang company decks. She should just be in a bant good stuff deck

Let's take a look at her:
1. She's now our third tri-colored walker, alongside Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker and Sarkhan Unbroken.

You're correct. In my enthusiasm, I read that a little wrong. So, she's even better than I originally thought.

This is another solid Walker for decks running Oath of Nissa.
