The title says it all! The new dual lands need a nickname or else they'll never see play because nobody will know what to call them and things will be confusing. Okay, that's a bit of a stretch. But they do need a nickname. I've seen everything from what I and other have coined them as "Baselands" to "Slowlands" and "Laglands". What should we call them? As the biggest assembly of MTG players, I think MTG Salvation has a good shot at coining the new nickname for these badboys. So in the poll, I'll put about five options of the most common things I've seen thus far, and then an "Other" Option, where you can vote for something else you've seen.

Still sticking with my write-in candidate CHARMLANDS

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I think Dual Check Lands would be fitting. This gives you exactly the info you need. They are "dual" lands, they "check" and the best part, you need dual basics.
Except the M10 lands were check lands, and they looked specifically for a basic land based on the mana they could produce. With these lands, they only care if you have 2 basics.
I lean towards slow lands because they are basically the opposite of the fast lands
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.
Partylands. I suggested it in the first thread that popped up about this. I do like baselands, but I find it to be too close to basic lands and worry about the potential to confuse new players. Dual lands with basic land types are already confusing enough as it for new players, so this would seemingly cause more problems.

I liked a variation of that penned by another user in another thread, "doublecheck" - IMO it flows off the tongue very well, but that's just me.
I'm probably going to end up calling them *****lands.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

Definitely Baselands. Tangolands really doesn't flow off the tongue and the name makes no sense since the dual+2 basics is 3 and it does not take 3 to tango.
Laglands feels inherently "catcher" than the others to me, and as another poster said slowland is already a thing and baseland feels a bit confusing for some players.
