At the beginning of your upkeep, look at the top card of your library. If it's a land card, you may put it onto the battlefield.

Anyone else super excited for this card? Oracle of mil-daya redundancy is always welcome in EDH, and I would much rather have this over Ranger's Path in a standard control deck for ramp. Clearly it isn't quite as good as our elvish friend, but it's harder to remove and pretty close in effectiveness.
When Domri bricks, you draw a land; when this bricks, you get an action spell. Oracle of Mul Daya this isn't, but it's a good design that I look forward to playing in casual decks.

Actually when this bricks you draw a card, and then potentially brick on Domri. And just because this hits, doesn't mean you don't just draw another land and still brick on Domri. If both effects happened in the upkeep it might be better, but even in the best case scenario presented, this still isn't very good. Domri also does 2 more things for one less mana, but that is another discussion.
Saw that deck work in block constructed and I was surprised. Makes me wonder if it could have a shot in standard with this and Urban Evolution and stuff...

Remember that Oracle is much more vulnerable to removal. I mean Crypt Ghast for instance is a powerful ramp card in the format but that 2/2 body for 4 is extremely vulnerable to everything on the planet.
Useful for deck-thinning, and giving you a second chance to draw a useful card. I don't know about anyone else, but every time I need a good top-deck, and draw a land is one of the most painful parts of this game. Your opponents also don't get to see what cards you're drawing, which Oracle causes.
The real problem is that once this effect hits a land, you don't get a chance to put down an additional land that turn because you've already used your land drop. So, I don't see this as a consistent source of mana acceleration which significantly hurts the playability of the card.

Actually, I think it does not count towards your land play, considering the wording. It says put it on the battlefield, not play it.
Another thing it clearly lacks in comparison to oracle: With oracle, you can use shuffle effects to increase the chances of hitting a land, and you can even play two lands from your library.
Oracle is a more powerful card but it does have the drawback of being a 2/2 which is problematic when everyone packs creature removal MD. Enchantments have a tendency to live for a longer period of time in most games.
I posted this on the Wizards forum, but haven't gotten an answer yet. I'm a bit confused about the new land drop ruling that comes with M14. If I play this card, and I reveal a land on my upkeep then put it into play, do I also get to do my regular land drop for the turn? I'm basically wondering if this card could ramp me from 4 to 6 in one turn.

You are putting it into play not playing it soo it don't count as your land drop

I would much rather have Rangers Path, personally. On it's own this card doesn't ramp you at all, and depends on luck of the top deck to do anything. Rangers Path is always gonna put you 2 lands up on your opponent.

At last if you reveal a land you will not draw it.
Its kind of a Abundance that will give you value over time.

Not this card, unfortunately, without Primeval Titan and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle to work with....

Yes, it doesn't count. You can play a land from your hand normally if you used Into the Wilds.
Have all of them.

I must have missed that detail. Fair enough.

Seems like it could have potential when combined with the new Garruk, in that case.
