I think the UR synergy with Skred is probably the best, if you're looking for any competitive-level strategies. Providing there's a decent 2cc mana artifact in Shadowmoor (and no decent 1-2cc countermagic), I could even see UWR Snow Angelfire making a comeback, with the Swans playing a flexible alternative/complement to Lightning Angel.
Heck, even Stuffy Doll had its day in the sun during the early Lorwyn season right next to Skred, so I don't see how something that's just as abusable (not to mention 10 times more playable) wouldn't show up in some decklists.

People hiss and grunt at Mark Rosewater for the state of the game. Few realize, though, that it is Aaron Forsythe who is directly responsible of the current state of affairs due to negligence as head of Magic R&D and a completely skewed view of the game as a whole.
So next time you want to make an avvy with Rosewater pissing on something, take a deep breath and consider pasting Forsythe's face there instead...
Two problems with Corrupt: Corrupt benefits from having a mono-black deck (unless you are running Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth), and, more importantly, since Swans of Bryn Argollprevents the damage that would be dealt to it, Corrupt would not net you any life.
So far this has been my favorite spoiled card, well the spike in me is fan demigod of revenge. This card though is abusable and its drawback, can be built around. I could see my self running this in in a green white deck with cloud threshers, squall lines, hurricanes, and some life gain effects.
Why hasn't anybody mentioned Niv-Mizzet yet? If I'm correct, these two MAY draw your deck.

my brain hates me right now i so dont no how, but maybe a set up for another combo niv-mizzet + ophidian eye...

woah, it and niv mizzet are a inifinte loop right?
In other news, a friend and I tried to come up with a Standard list using Swan, Pariah, Forced Fruition and Rule of Law, but were stymied in ways to avoid dying.

98% of the internet population has a Myspace. If you're part of the 2% that isn't an emo, copy and paste this into your sig.
Hey, you. Yes, you reading this sig. Get off your computer, go find a copy of Skies of Arcadia: Legends and play it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
This last list is the only one to get the combo right.
Swans + Chain of Plasma = draw my deck. Allowing for several possible combo wins. Seething song can can enable triple red for seismic assault or Tarox + 3x Grandeur. This is quite possibly good enough for extended.
Its a 2 card combo that doesn't die to disruption. Its moderately fast, and as its 2 cards should be exceptionally consistent.
Best part is that what ever you choose for your kill you will have 4x Pact of negation in hand to force it through once you start to combo off.
The most important considerations are what the best way to tutor for the pieces and what's the best way to accelerate into swan to speed up the combo.

Wild Mongrel is NOT strictly better than Grizzly Bears.
so far I have had only one game were I didn't finish them off in 6 or less turns and that was because I didn't fiery justice the swan i had out. the only problem is that it completely loses to fae.
I don't know why no one has mentioned Conflagrate. Draw an insane number of cards with skred/lightning axe/whatever, and have the flashback on this win you the game in one shot or filter through your library until you can.
What about Glittering Wish as an extra swans wish
also, living wish can get the Drakmoor salvage if you get seismic assault instead of chains of plasma
the combo seems kind of silly, because it revolves around a very resilient creature
against Faeries and it sucked. It needs something else to hit with...I'm going to try switching blue for white and doing Serra Avenger and Oblivion Rings...
Razormane is the sidekick for this card, standardwise...
Actually, red decks seem like the easiest decks for swan decks to beat
Sure, if you get the combo late, they'll use your swan for draw, then burn you to the face... but you'll win before then
HOWEVER, the swan is immune to burn. who cares how many cards your opponent draws... none of them will stop you from comboing out and winning the turn you play it.
Swans + Lure = Psudo Mill for creature decks if you can find a way to lock your opponent down, right?
lets look at it this way: Your opponent has 2 Grizzly Bears and a Trained Armodon in play, you have Swans with Lure, and maybe another. Swing with Swans, opponent's 3 creatures block and try to deal a total of 7 damage. Swans prevent the damage, and your opponents draw 7 cards.
Now, if you can lock your opponent out of using most of those cards he draws, they'll have to discard them.
Will that work?

You are aware that Swans fly right? Lure does not allow non flyers to block flyers in this case.
Lure on a flyer is pretty much a joke unless they are playing like a blue faerie deck or something.

Or better yet, Tendrils of Corruption. And just aim that Corrupt at the dome.
Wow nice. Even without the Pandemonium that's pretty nice.

Celtic = Irish and Scottish. I haven't the foggiest what you're going on about here sir.
I think you're right, U/B might be better, as tolaria west=urborg, and we get a little more draw to set up.
4x tendrils
2-3x corrupt/consume spirit
4x mind stone
4x swan
4x prismatic lens
4x damnation
4x cryptic command
4x twincast (functions as your kill, with corrupt copying, or copy tendrils)
4x Finkel
4x thoughtsieze
