Sway of the Stars costs 10 mana. Sway of the Stars shuffles all cards in play, the graveyard and one's hand into their library. Sway of the Stars gives you 7 cards and reduces both players to 7 life.
Mark of Sakiko, Sakiko, Mother of Summer, Sakura-Tribe Springcaller and Shizuko, Caller of Autumn all add mana to your mana pool that doesn't go away at the end of your turn.
The latter cards create mana to accelerate you towards Sway of the Stars. If you produce more mana than is needed to cast Sway of the Stars, you will be able to cast Sway, then maybe...... Gnarled Mass? Sakura-Tribe Springcaller? Your opponent will be put on a fast clock, and will have no mana to recover.
EDIT: Whoops! Moderator, Please move this to the new card forum pls.
er... casual at best... the card is to damn expensive and their are to meny pieces to the puzzle...

Brian Tinsman, Set Designer :?mana::snow::snow:
Legendary Creature – Human Designer (MR)
Brian Tinsman, Set Designer can only be cast during the third set of a block.
When Brian Tinsman, Set Designer enters the battlefield, ignore all flavor and mechanics of the first two sets in the block. "Ok so what do we have here... gothic horror? Scrap it. Expand the Devine Vs. Demonic duel deck to 244 cards and print it!"

The Clock is fast AFTER you cast the sway. It functions similarly to upheaval in tog. Think about it this way:
4x Sakura Tribe Elder
4x Kodama's Reach
4x Sakura Tribe Springcaller
4x One of the other new "non-mana burn critters"
4x Sway of the Stars
24x Lands
16x Removal Spells/decently costed green fat
This doesn't seem too rediculous. It might make for a good block deck! Pick Black for Hideous Laughter and the new ACC/splice creature killer. Once you get to a certain amount of mana, you win the game!
EDIT:
You're making a "fast clock" with a card that costs ten and cards that we don't even know the full text of yet. A little overeager, are we?
The new Green non-mana burn creatures have been confirmed, so I'm going to assume that they do what they say they do.
er... casual at best... the card is to damn expensive and their are to meny pieces to the puzzle...
Too many peices to the puzzle? There are 2 peices, the springcaller or the other non-burn critter and Sway of the Stars, that's 2 peices.
Problem is: the mana that those cards produce DOES vanish at end of turn. It only doesn't vanish at the end of each PHASE. I think something about that was said on the BoK FAQ page
if you could build up 12 mana then you could Otherworldly Journey a big creature you control and then Sway the Stars, essentially giving your opponent a 1 or 2 turn clock to kill your guy before they lose.
or use the twilight guardian...
and well... all that land your going to need... and quick also counts... I'm a combo/ casual carfree freelance deck guy... the idea is intresting... but to slow in the current... do some play-tests though to convence me other wise... keep at your dream... mine is to build a compettitive Kitsune deck...

For this, I'd probably stick with U/G and make it combo-control. There are some fun new cards for controllish decks in blue, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Some wonder why I carry 8 decks on me. The answer? I get tired of being boarded against in casual games, and 90% of the players I meet can't beat a jank deck I made to be tokens for a serious one.
This deck is not going to be fast enough, and very unconsistent and easily stopped from achieving its main goal. It is not going to be good enough to see play, and by the looks of it people agree with me.

Turn one Birds (2mana)
Turn two kodama's reach (4 mana, at least 1 in hand)
Turn three Explosive vegetation (7 mana)
Turn four Vedalken Orrery. Endphase their turn play heartbeat of spring (13 mana)
Turn five stack shrapnel blast (saccing an artifact land) and shock, and play sway of the stars. Everything gets shuffled in, each player's life gets set to 7, and then your opponent dies.
Sheer genius if I do say so myself. Then again, it pretty much depends on you having all those exact cards and no disruption against you. And its just a janky casual deck anyways. But still funny.

I think it's probably fun for casual but useless anywhere else, it costs to much and dedicating your deck to mana acceleration to fix that problem just makes your deck to weak against any other deck.
I played upheaval/tog for ages and i can tell you that this is no upheaval tog, it doesn't guarentee you a beatstick in you're new hand(especially if you've packed you're deck with mana acceleration). So while the sway of the stars floating mana from one of the new snakes does work(the turn doesn't end your deck life and hands just get reset and you continue on with you're turn, it's not like shaharazad which starts a new game, important to remember don't cast land before hand if you're doing this combo) it's to slow and inefficient to be playable.
If you think this deck is fast, try it against OTHER block decks and see if it can race against them with your 10cc socery, and like most combo decks, the only way you can win is to draw a Sway, which means Cranial Extraction is prolly game.
i think they could have made it arcane since it costs 10 mana. it would have been nice to have a playable card like this but i guess it would be too good.
I definatly think that Sway was not intended for constructed use. Odds are you are dead before you hit 10 mana, even with accel, no mana pool emptying, good decks beat you before then. Then again, its really nice in casual circles im sure.
I will definatly try to break sway as ill everyone else, but 10 is a BIG hurdle. To think it used to cost 4 then 5 then 7 then 8 then 10...so perhaps its not that BIG.
Well now, thats not much of a combo is it? It should be classified as a strategy more or less to me. You don't necessarily win right away with that combo either. Who says you'll ive longer enough to gather the 10 mana to play Sway the Stars. Sure, you'v got acceleration and land search, etc. So does Tooth and Nail but they only need nine mana and usually win the game after that. How would this be better? Tooth has trouble with affinity, how can this deck better cope in the Type 2 environment?
Sway is the stereotypical "TIMMAH" card. It screams out to kiddies and such, nd they think "OMG!!!11!1!!! best card ever!!" when in reality, it's terrible. Even if you DO manage to cast it, it leaves both players with no resources and a fresh hand. and it puts BOTH players at 7 life. Since chances are anyone playing a deck with Sway the Stars isn't the best player, they'll probably cast it the moment they get enough mana for it, meaning they won't be able to play a land from their new 7 cards. So, you create a race to 7 that you're letting your opponent draw first and play the first card during. Not smart.
The problem is if you want to take advantage of sway you need to be able to go hyper aggressive after you cast it, and if you can go hyper aggressive why didn't you do that from the start and why are you running a 10cc blue card in a hyper aggressive deck anyway?
What's really sad is that (according to one of the writers) this card started off as a 4cc spell. It was then sent to 6cc, then 8, and finally 10 due to some aggressive playtesting. (I'm assuming there is no other 10cc card in this set)
its simple, just get a bunch of creatures like Mark of Sakiko, Sakiko, Mother of Summer, Sakura-Tribe Springcaller, or Shizuko, Caller of Autumn, put all the mana into your pool,m leave mana floating, then play sway of stars and after you get your 7 new cards you should have a fatty to cast.
