It seems to me that with Ninjutsu being all over the place at the prerelease, you're going to have to be more cautious than normal in order to have a chance at winning a flight.
As for me, I don't plan on not blocking anything little in fear of a combat trick, as CHK is fairly light on combat tricks (outside of Green) and whatnot.
However, I am going to try to play B/U, W/U, G/U, or G/B in order to take advantage of the fffear that most people are going to have of Ninjutsu, so that when it's just a plain old combat trick instead of Ninja Scroll time they'll be disappointed and also card disadvantaged.
Also, keep in mind that with Ninjutsu, an attacker is considered attacking and unblocked until combat damage resolves and after the declare attackers step (EG, you can Ninjutsu something into play even in the fast effects phase during the declare attackers step).
Also, if you want your Ninja to deal some damage, make sure that you have him flying into play sometime before combat damage goes on the stack, preferably during the Declare Blockers step. Otherwise, the creature he's replacing will pink the enemy for likely much less effect than otherwise and then he'll come roaring into play (oops!) without being able to do damage. Know your steps, and your opponents won't be able to take advantage of you.
Wizards usually has an excellent article on up-and-coming rules for new mechanics on Friday, so I'd also recommend reading that.
One last general tip: both players must pass priority on an *empty* stack in order for the game to proceed to the next step/phase. Don't let someone bully you into missing something. What this means is: You declare attackers. In the fast effects step before blockers are declared, you don't have anything. Your opponent plays Serpent Skin on his Big Ol' Fattie that's going to take your creature down. You can let that resolve, saying that you have no response to that. You now have priority once more, and the stack is empty. If you pass your action here instead of casting the Black Shoal in your hand to rid yourself of said fattie, you won't have another chance to cast said -x/-x spell until after blockers have been declared -- and after your chance to actually get any damage through with that creature this turn is gone.
Post your strategies here! Sorry this turned into Limited advice!

correction, its an attacker after declare attackers step and until end of combat phase (though ninjutsu after damage resolves is useless) and its considered unblocked only after declare blockers step

A creature is unblocked from the time blockers are declared until the combat phase ends (or it otherwise leaves combat). This includes the declare blockers, combat damage, and end of combat steps.

This means that you cannot ninjutsu until your opponent has made his blocking decision. Other than that rules morsel, great post vylasaven!
Currently we only have info on 7 ninjas(4blue, 3black) i'm betting theres at least another black common 1 to make a total of 8 ninjas with 2 commons, 1 uncommon and 1 rare of each colour. With ninjas being only 8/165 cards and 4 of them being uncommon or rare the chances of anyone getting enough ninjas, let alone good ones in their 3 boosters to make a deck where the opponents would have to worry about ninjitsu is minimal to say the least.
Even if there's more than 8 ninjas in the set(possibly 2 of each rarity making 12 ninjas) it still wouldn't be enough for anyone to have to worry about. So what if a couple of games in an entire flight you get surprised by a ninjitsu trick, it's nothing to build around or to plan against.
Also, just watch what colors he plays, since ninjas are only blue and black. Your opponent shouldt be pulling out a blue ninja with a red green manabase unless he has orochi leafcaller..........
Its just going to be amazing to generate another creature without ur opponent knowing (uncounterable too).
Other than that, i can see Sosuke's summons a bomb... infact... i'm gunna edit this post with every known BoK limited bomb:
Finaly Judgment
Hokori
Opal eye Yojimbo
Yomiji
any glasskite
any ninja
any ninja
Toshiro
any ogre
In the web of war
any soulshifter
Iwamori
Sosuke's Summons
Anything:
ALL NINJAS
ALL GENJUS
Hiroki isn't a limited bomb at all........
Neither is "any ogre" or "any soulshifter", just about all the ninja's are great, especially the black ones. During the pre, I'd be careful if your opponent is playing Black, Throatslitter is great, as is Ink-eyes (even though a rare).
I will hopefully be able to get a nice U/B deck, with stuff like Throatslitter, and Mistblade Ninja. Horobi's Whisper and that one blue card (unblockable + untargetable) look to be nice as well.
I don't know why, but I just like Opal-Eye, Konda's Yojimbo, it just seems awesome.....

With Ninja being 8 different cards, 2 of them being rare, 2 of them being uncommon I wouldn't count on them being a dominant force. Yes, maybe once or twice you will get sabotaged but I don't think it will be a sealed archetype. 4 commons over 2 colours...
Thing is, some nice removal has entered the tournament, and a number of onedrops will make agressive decks more viable.
I would be more on the lookout for spirit/arcane stuff then Ninjitsu stuff. S/A has proven itself to be quite potent.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...

Yes i believe it was confirmed that there are to be 8 ninjas in the set.
To me it seems like all of the flip creatures are good in any deck with enough spirits and arcane, which is just about every deck. Sometimes they will be bad if teh deck has less than 8 spirit/arcane spells, but they will generally always be very good. We dont even no the black one but i do know it will not be too terrible for limited, im guessing it will give -1/-1.'
And no, hokori is not a bomb.

Prereleases goers are good fodder for the player who does not get caught up in the frenzied prerelease mentality. Tempo is extremly important in this block, with the ninjas you must consider tempo. My favorite ninja, althought it may not be the best one is Mistblade Shinobi. He has the lowest of all the Ninjisu cost and has the some of the greastest tempo of all the ninjas. Keep your curve have enough creatures to back up your deck type.

In drafting with BoK, I'd say avoid the Ninja's personally. I know that some players will be so thrilled to be able to play Ninja's because its cool. Take your Ninja's, I'll let you know what I plan on pounding you with ahead of time mmkay.
