This idea is probably crap for constructed, but it seems interesting for a casual deck...
Use Shirei with some of the better Zuberas and Spawning Pit. Each turn (yours or your opponent's), you could get the Zubera effect from each of your Zuberas as well as any Spiritcraft triggers as all the Zuberas come into play over and over again.
The only real weakness to the idea is that Shirei is pretty fragile. Lightning Greaves could help somewhat, but I'm not sure that's enough. Here's Shirei for reference:
Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker :4mana::symb:
Legendary Creature - Spirit
Whenever a creature with power 1 or less is put into your graveyard from play, you may return that creature card to play under your control at end of turn if Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker is still in play.

Shirei with zuberas is a cool casual idea. Though I should point out that it will do nothing with Spiritcraft because Spiritcraft triggers on a Spirit or Arcane spell being played.
And played means you announce it, put it on the stack, and pay for it.

If you think you found a way to play evermind, you are wrong.

Good call. I was thinking it was "comes into play" instead of just "play." That definitely cuts down on its utility.
Still, it'll be a low-cost 'crap rare,' so it won't be expensive to make a fun casual deck for the guy. :tongue3:

Perhaps Grafted Wargear would be something to add? It's a real beating on a Zubera when you don't have Shirei out, and when the time comes, it becomes your sacrifice outlet as well. Although you need to sacrifice each one at a time, so over all the zubera effect won't be as big compared to using spawning pit

If you came here expecting a signature, you've just wasted your time.
Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker + Kami of False Hope = Infinite Fog. You could make this a 3 color combo with Kira, Great Glass Spinner, but I think the best option would just to use something that spiritcrafts for 5.
this card is a kinda bad Nether Spirit imbuing thing... it has some uses, no doubt... casual mostly... and could get nasty with WW, but then it would have to be B/WW... and that would suck, as WW likes 2/2s a lot... especialy if their turn 1 drops... I love that doggy. and meh... I hope they re-print Nether Spirit before this block cycles out... the card would be neat in the format...

Brian Tinsman, Set Designer :?mana::snow::snow:
Legendary Creature – Human Designer (MR)
Brian Tinsman, Set Designer can only be cast during the third set of a block.
When Brian Tinsman, Set Designer enters the battlefield, ignore all flavor and mechanics of the first two sets in the block. "Ok so what do we have here... gothic horror? Scrap it. Expand the Devine Vs. Demonic duel deck to 244 cards and print it!"

It may not be cheap of powerful enough for constructed buts its alot of fun to tinker around with(especially in a casual format where skullclamp is allowed). I personally like it with kami of false hope(the white spore frog) so you can set it up that you're opponents creatures will never damage you.
2x Shimatsu the Bloodcloaked (I always felt he was a good inclusion for Zubera decks)
3x Shirei
4x Ember-Fist
4x Ashen-Skin
4x Dripping-Tongue
4x Sakura-Tribe Elder
4x Hana Kami
4x whatever the Black 1-drop Spirit's name is
4x Devouring Greed
4x Devouring Rage
8x Mountain
8x Swamp
7x Forest
might need to do land-count tweaking, but yeah. Random CHK block deck thrown together there. In T2, Spawning Pit and Blasting Station would work.
