Blazing Shoal will peak only because everyone thinks it will, not because it's any good. This set has the blah-factor of Legions, and I honestly think it won't impact anything very much short of Block Constructed and a little bit of T2. A Hokori-Lock deck might emerge, so that might gain a few bucks, and Ink-Eyes will get money just for the people that are going crazy for all these rats, but she will also be the rare in the Rat Precon, so she won't go that high. Overall, this set won't have true moneymakers in terms of overpowered cards.
oh well.. i was expecting something something broken like in darksteel..
the ravager.. the disciple.. the clamp.. first time wotc did something good and broken.. no matter if it ends up ruling over t2.. they can ban later..
those without considering the colossus.. god.. i was hoping for a bit more timmy service in bok
i wanted to believe there was a pattern in here
legions -> the cloudscrapper
darksteel -> the colossus
bok -> ????
and don't tell me it's the body of jukai or the patrons.. maybe kyoki.. but lately they're making the fatties weakling thoughness wise...
btw.. today was a slow day spoiler wise..
still.. i'm happy with yesterdays findings (-5gmt)

just to answer to those who think this set will be boring/bad. I thing that rare wise, this might be right, but on the other hand, the common and uncommon seem incredible. Then again, we dont have a lot i think.
For a little while at least, anything that has "ninja" in the creature type will have a very inflated price. Timmys (and just about everyone else but expecially timmies) will flock to them because "ninjas are teh l33t". :tongue2:
Toshiro will also be worth good money because anything that has any sort of link to old broken cards will be inflated. Timmys will see the "pros" make comments about how it is similar to a broken card and assume it too is broken.
Ink-Eyes will be good money because 1) shes a ninja (and as before "ninja are teh l33t"), 2) Shes a rat and people are crazy about rats for some reason, 3) She is legendary (although dime a dozen in this block legends are still popular), and last but not least 4) She's hot :tongue2:

Just to let you know disciple of the vault and its white opposite leonin elder were both in mirrodin not in darksteel.
Another probably value rare is the blue affinity hoser(3U return all artifacts).
well.. yeah.. one little mistake.. but my point is still there.. the ravager the clamp and the colossus...
btw.. as someone said.. it's rare wise.. cause i like many of the commons-uncommons

I think everyone is overrating Toshi, outside of limited/block, it'd get killed before you can use its effect, and even thats not that great. My guess is that the bad rebuild, Kira and NINJAS will be the money rares
Well, unlike ChK and mirrodin block, BoK is indeed more versatile in abilities, as card power is high amoung a large variety of cards.
I believe that there will therefore be very few money rares.
Some candidates:
Higure, THe silent wind. (Very powerful in ninja deck, and even if ninjas arent' good they will be overrated at first).
Global Artifact Bounce (Its global artifact bouncing. Thats great vs affinity. Thus good and expensive).
Umezawa Butte (Removal, increased power, and life gain in one artifact. Wow.)

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
i'm still waiting for a more complete toshi card..
ok it's good.. cause somehow it shows toshi's kanji magic.. but what about the silence ability that was given by the black myojin when he asked for her blessing?
so insted of bushido he should've been imo.. a 3/3 with his current ability and "when ~ attacks.. other players can't play spells this turn" and that would've been a good way to show his silence gift

I would have to agree that Kira will be up there money wise. However, she does present a problem that affinity won't be able to use it effectively (can't send +1/+1 counters)
Toshiro might be a little overrated but do not overestimate being able to play burn/more creature destruction from the grave. Hideous Laughter and Toshiro late game could be devastating in t2. Probably best paired in a b/r creature kill deck However, still limited in that it requires the opp to have creatures and Graverobber eats it up.
Ink-Eyes is a solid addition to MBC, might work pretty delicious with Toshiro.
The Shoals besides the blue one are all going to be good. Time will tell if the blue one is decent.
Patrons will be up there in price as well, just because the ability to sac a creature that is dying already to make it cheaper and play it as an instant. Plus they are combo material and big fatties to discard to shoals.
And to finish up, Genju of the Realm = n00b bait. I don't care how good its going to be, unless it turns into a 10/10 flying trample vigilance can't be targeted creature for 2, people will not play it.
