Why use uproot when this combo already exists in CoK using the better Rootrunner?
(It goes like this; use rootrunner to put a land on top of the opponents library, use soulless revival to return rootrunner to hand and then use hana kami to return soulless revival to hand. rince and repeat this time using rootrunners soulshift to return hana kami. This combo costs 4GGGGGGB(11cc total) and is potentially a lock, it becomes even better if you use spirit trigger creatures as well like thief of hope or soilshaper.)

I'm well aware of the existing combo. This adds redundancy and gives more chances to draft the lock or mise it in sealed. Of course, the truly broken thing here is hana kami + soulless revival, but more ways to abuse that combo are very welcome.

edit: besides, isn't the lock cheaper with Uproot? I calculate 5gggb.
I'm not saying throwing uproot into a deck already using the rootrunner+hana kami+soulless revival combo is bad. But the major thing rootrunner has going for it is the fact its a 3/3 beater as well and for the combo to work with uproot you have to get hana kami in the graveyard 1st.

No you don't. The first time you play Uproot, don't splice Soulless Revival. Then you can sac Hana Kami to fetch the Uproot, etc.
Can't argue the bit about the 3/3 beatstick tho. Not to mention Kiki-jiki, which is easily the best way to go about this lock....
First strike opponent to damage him to get mana from Mark of Sakiko, use mana to ninjutsu in a ninja. Use Orochi Leafcaller to if needed to convert mana.

Sway of the Stars +Otherwordly Journey or Hikari, Twilight's Guardian
EOT remove a creature from the game (something good or with evasion) your turn, cast Sway of the Stars (you can use Mana Seism to help cast this)
Ogre Recluse + Dosan the Falling Leaf
Iwamori of the Open Fist + Distress or He Who Hungers
