Okay so most people(including me) hate raffinity, but a couple of points,
first the only time raffinity players lack originallity is if they're using the r/b/u vial affinity version which is so often netdecked at the moment. affinity can actually be quiet creative, there's the less popular control affinity with broodstar or quomolox kill, white affinity using second sunrise and leonin elder and even bauble affinity using artificers intuition and a recuring myr servitor engine. These versions aren't as viable as the standard raffinity but it's still not fair to lump all affinity players into the one basket.
secondly whats with this 4th turn is too late stuff, raffinity will only ever win on 3rd turn if the raffinity player is A. goldfish testing B. playing against a total newbie or C. playing against someone with no early game(disruption or creatures) which is pretty much point B anyway. 4th turn is fine it just has to have some early game backup after all march of the machines is standard blue anti affinity tech and it works great but you'd be an idiot to play it without the annuls or the relic barriers. same goes for all solutions for affinity no 1 card can kill the deck you need the early game disruption followed by the midgame mass hatred card, like green use oxidize and shaman the maybe molder slug, red use hearth kami and electrostatic bolt then maybe furnace dragon etc.
thirdly affinity players stop whining about how wizards are making anti affinity hosers everytime a deck becomes to powerful in recent history wizards make hosers against it, think psychatog with goblin piledriver and withered wretch, think goblins with silver knight. and that's just a few examples, there are heaps more so stop complaining about it wizards always have and always will create deck hosers so stop acting surprised and hurt when your current favorite is the target.
and besides that i like the raffinity card...what i suggest they have is something like this
Screw Raffinity
:1mana::symu:
enchantment
Screw raffinity may be played at any time you could play an instant.
when you play screw raffinity return all artifacts to their owners hands. artifacts cannot be played..ever again in the match. each player loses X life where X is the number of artifacts that cost 1 or less or have affinity. if arcbound ravager is returned, then that player loses every game they will ever play ever again in any format in any game
i think something on that nature is in order. anyone want to shop that? i would love you for ever...in a completely heterosexual way or maybe homosexual...i dont really care all that much
we need to start an anti-raffinity league like la resistance in the south park movie...except not stupid
HA!! I would say something like ROFLCOPTOR if it wasn't so utterly stupid.
I think the anti-raffinity league would be awesome though. Maybe we should call it the "Competitive Anti-Raffinity League" or CARL for short. That way, whenever we mention it in front of the Ravager, it would think we were talking about a person instead of the thing that will bring about its death. Man, I'm in a really goofy mood for some reason.

GOD DAMN FIGHT THE MAN, MAN!!! GRRRRRRR REBEL MAN YEAH!!! GET OUT YOUR TIE-DYE T-SHIRTS AND SOME ATOGS WITH PEACE SIGNS MAN! YEAH! LETS GROW OUR HAIR OUT LONG AND COLOR ON OUR MAGIC CARDS WITH SILVER SHARPIES TO REBEL! YEEEEAH!
Why aren't the artifact lands legendary? I mean, they're referring to specific places, so why can you have 2 "Great Furnaces" in play and not 2 of the CHK block actual legendary lands?
That would solve alot of the problems if they were.
Somebody posted here, like three pages ago (curse me for getting 'ere late) that his B/G/u deck had 70-30 against affinity, you know what?
I wholeheartedly agree with him!!
I tried the rickety mush of cards that some dude rode to State Champs in Washington (you should check it out at the wizards tournament center) and removed some of the stuff that really annoyed me -the lone Jukai Messenger (??) the lone condescend and the BOP's, because, um, I didn't have them - and put, lemme see.. two kodama's reach for two of the BOP's, two lands instead of the random cards and a couple divining tops, pushing Mr. Horobi to the sideboard.
And it works like a charm!! I must confess that I always get a little scared when the other guy opens with an artifact land, but in the end, the deck wins game one surprisingly often, and brings then 1 oxidize, 1 naturalize, 1 echoing decay and 1 March to seal the deal.
I suspect there might be something wrong with the builds of the affinity players in my zone, but until them, I must proudly announce a -so far- perfect record against affinity!
But, the really important thing is that the deck is too fun to play.
If you believe me and want a decklist, just ask.
The rest can go ahead and....

I know the perfect guy for the third faction:

Does no one else here think terashi's grasp will have any affect on ravager? I mean WW already has a pretty good game vs it, and this card will just add to it. (plus its TnN match, but thats a whole different story)
