Hi Mark, do we get to know the real name for the Metronome Arc now?
It is called the Echoverse Arc.
the last arc was called Echoverse arc (Edge of eternity, Lorwyn Eclipse, Secrets of strixhaven, and Reality fracture)
Now this a Multiverse created by Jace to undo the phyrexian invasion oh and there's no second jace this jace and the jace we saw get sucked into the abyss in dragonstorm is one in the same
oh yea and the Chandra leak from before thats now confirmed
oh and remember maros thought to be impossible thing and is finally happening as of Reality fracture thing, that got revealed and both chandras revealed that THE WHOLE TIME!
and yes confirmed we will be doing a planar chaos type of thing with color shifted versions of iconic cards and this "Shattered Mirror" variant reveals a clue of which card its based off of. (clue being fragments of its first printing art/known art)
oh and they revealed something...remember the hexhaven rumor?....ITS REAL!!!!
now we get ally version of campus's just like the rumor said and we even see the subjects and just like the portal arts showed in SOS its their counterparts over here
oh one other card shown
as you can see right off the bat prepare is already returning and these will be planar chaos'd too heck this is a color shifted Emeritus of Ideation and its prepare spell is a colorshifted Ancestral Recall difference is you lose 3 life
oh one other mention bad news is only one commander deck........however.......
IT TOOK....THEM FORVER TO FINALLY DO THIS!!!!!!! We finally after all these years get a new 4-color commander not Ink-treder we are finally getting Yore-tiller commanders two and three in this precon, (unless partners ofcourse) this is gonna be a tokens matter deck
(who knows maybe there's a cycle of 4-color legends in the set)
that just leaves more art
oh and tam is here as well
oh we finally learn her origins
She was artifically created by jaces new powers thanks to this alternate universe and for a half correct thing the creation is as if jace and vraska could hypothetically have children
but also was a spy for jace
so the TLDR version you can compare Tam just like with Palpantine in star wars with making Snoke
now lets show other arts
oh and yes the original lorwyn 5 walkers will be in this set (some desparked)
oh they did this because people were asking this for years we finally gonna get garruk's axe (alone with the echoverse versions)
I’m really excited about Reality Fracture, and it’s really cool to see Hexhaven! I do have one concern that I hope you can assuage, which is hopefully a question you can answer: is the whole set taking place just on Hexhaven? Or will we see other planes? It would feel weird to have the alternate multiverse set without seeing the rest of the multiverse and examples of some of its changes, a great one I hope to see is evidence of “Mirrodin Pure”, and I’m sure many other cool examples. Is there anything you can say about whether we will see multiple planes in the set?
It mostly takes place on Hexhaven, but we do get some peeks at other planes.
oh got a tin foil here for ending
I got a hunch this won't be the first and last we see of the Echoverse im willing to bet this will show its self from time to time in set just like Omenpath thing did (another permanent side effect from something)
oh and ofcourse if you followed Edge of Eternity story and the lorehold side story of secrets of strixhaven (and just a hair of caverns of a ixalan and thunder junctin epilogue), safe to assume for the next arc the BIG BAD VILLAIN For the one after this (however it ends) will begin the return of The fomori, and also Safe to assume along with them...round 3 with eldrazi in (Standard wise)
(and its not like the echoverse causes something to resurrect ulamog and kozilek)
Yeah, sad that I won't engage with mtg for the next few months but glad there is something on the horizon for us. Hoping for a Bolas "redemption" arc, not that he is good but that he steps in for self-interested reasons and does something ambiguously "good"
also, isn't it the onakke that would be the next big bad?

Latest proof this forum is a trashfire:
the Real negative is for players who do draft because 36 is divisible by 8
That’s a really valid concern—having a multiverse-focused set would feel a bit limited if everything stayed confined to Hexhaven, especially when part of the appeal is seeing how different planes and timelines have changed; while it’s possible Hexhaven serves as the main setting or anchor point, it would make sense for the set to at least reference or briefly explore other planes to show the wider impact of these alternate realities, so hopefully we’ll get glimpses or examples beyond just one location to make the concept feel fully realized.
Would be cool if we got these kind of sets like normal instead sporadic releases amid Marvel and Star Trek crap
This actually reminds me of a recent conversation I had with a friend of mine last Saturday where he was saying that Magic: The Gathering is too focused on competing against Weiss Schwarz, Union Arena, and UniVersus when their main priority should be competing against Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon TCG. They forgot that there was a demographic of players and collectors who don't like Magic: The Gathering being used as an advertising tool for popular Intellectual Properties (IP's) which basically sums up those who hate Universes Beyond and it's inception within the game itself.
As someone who cares more about the mechanical identity of Magic: The Gathering than it's own story and lore, is it really too much to ask for a Paper Trading Card Game / Collectible Card Game where it's own source material ISN'T based on high fantasy and occultism? I get that it was a big draw to get new players in who are romanticized about the medieval aspect of it all but when you have a younger generation of people who were never really cultured into that sort of thing then you see why Wizards of the Coast / Hasbro were enticed by outside Intellectual Property (IP) into Magic: The Gathering.

Well there's Pokemon, and Lorcana. I guess Yu Gi Oh doesn't count. One Piece too. Probably some other Japanese games if you care to look.

Lorcana is directly based on Disney as it's known to be occult with Walt himself being a Freemason, heck Peter Pan is actually based on a demon. Yu-Gi-Oh! gets it's occult themes from Spellcasters like Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. Devil Fruit in One Piece symbolizes the Forbidden Fruit in the Garden of Eden that brought forth sin in our world though the Forbidden Fruit itself is primarily a biblical symbol of divine authority, disobedience, and the transition to human self-awareness rather than a strictly "occult" object in mainstream theology.
Paper Trading Card Games / Collectible Card Games like Force of Will TCG, Riftbound: League of Legends TCG, and Grand Archive has high fantasy with occult themes with Grand Archive poking fun at Wizards of the Coast by calling themselves, "Weebs of the Shore." I'm not making this up. There's also Sorcery TCG which is a throwback to Vintage Magic. Star Wars Unlimited gets a pass yet is under pressure due to how badly damaged Star Wars as a brand has become. UniVersus hardly has any high fantasy and occult themes aside from Critical Role and Fairy Tail.

Just because it's retro doesn't make it okay. If you don't believe that there's spiritual consequences for our actions then I don't know what to tell you.

Mate it's a card game for nerds about dragons, faeries and wizards. It even has lots of angels fighting demons. Your soul isn't going to burn for playing it
Oh yea before we start we finally got the name of the metronome arc

ITs having the two parallels together in every pack So if you pull Chandra, Torch of Defiance theres a 100% chance Chandra, Chill of Compliance will be in the same pack
so if you pull a character that has a parallel both will be in the pack, this was never done
Also we get that other leaked card Stingercaster mage
and yes confirmed we will be doing a planar chaos type of thing with color shifted versions of iconic cards and this "Shattered Mirror" variant reveals a clue of which card its based off of. (clue being fragments of its first printing art/known art)

oh and for those worried this is just gonna be a "Secrets of Strixhaven Planar chaos edition" well hexhaven will be most of the focus but maro gives a fear not that other planes will be shoe horned into this set (clearly no where near as much as March of the Machines)
