Gavin explains the reasoning behind releasing the Enemy Bicycle and Tango Lands in Precons. He notes that these lands have been difficult to include in standard and supplement sets due to their niche functionality in specific formats, such as Standard or Modern.
To address the challenge, Gavin's team created new cards to complete the Enemy Bicycle and Tango Lands cycle in preconstructed sets. By testing this approach with the Fallout set and releasing the Enemy Odyssey lands in the precons and future precons, they achieved a successful outcome: players now have easier access to the complete cycle, making it more feasible for budget-conscious deck-building.
Looking ahead, Gavin's team has outlined several key changes:
New Land Cycles: From now on, they will prioritize releasing new lands in preconstructed decks to complete existing cycles.
Timeline: In 2026 is when we will see the next Bicycle/Tango lands, So The first set to feature these new lands will be Lorwyn, which means we can expect the Orzhov, Izzet, and Simic Bicycle and Tango lands to be in the Precons.
Preconstructed Sets: Only preconstructed sets from the "Universe Within" series will include these new lands, as they are designed to be easily reprinted in future precons, including those from the "Universe Beyond" series. (For example if Avatar the last Air bender has precons and is within colors they could reprint the Boros and Golgari Bicycle/Tango lands in those precons.)
Preconstructed Set Updates: Going forward, "Universe Within" preconstructed sets will feature 12 new cards, with 2 of them typically dedicated to completing land cycles or introducing new theme-specific lands or/and mana rocks.
Reprint Rate: Players can expect to see these lands reprinted frequently in preconstructed sets, as has been the case with the Enemy Odyssey lands since the Fallout set.
Priorities: The team will focus on releasing lands that wouldn't be included in standard or supplemental sets, such as the Enemy Bicycle and Tango lands. However, they won't prioritize completing cycles that are likely to be finished in future Standard or supplement sets, like the Horizon Canopy cycle for example (still possible though).
Future Plans: Gavin is eager to complete the Enemy Mirage Fetchlands cycle (Slow Fetchland Cycle), The Ally ones are
So The first set to feature these new lands will be Lorwyn, which means we can expect the Orzhov, Izzet, and Simic Bicycle and Tango lands to be in the Precons.
So this means a temur precon and an abzan/mardu/esper precon?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
So The first set to feature these new lands will be Lorwyn, which means we can expect the Orzhov, Izzet, and Simic Bicycle and Tango lands to be in the Precons.

well lorwyn precons will probably follow the same route caverns of ixalan did. Where they were kindred/typal precons, it’s because so they can still do the typal/kindred aspect of the set but not over kill it.
so maybe atleast abzan for elves since since elves have both appeared in Golgari and Selesyna
but the thing is it’s almost inevitable one precon will be WUBRG if it’s typal kindred precons. And that’s because of either elementals or shapeshifters/Changelings

Based on previews thus far, does that mean this change won't apply to Edge of Eternity?
Edge of Eternities itself is a bit too non-Magic for my tastes: not as bad as Aetherdrift, but still not really Magic. I disagree with almost every decision they make nowadays, so it's nice when they make a rare good decision like this one.

If we're gonna talk Lorwyn creature types, here's an overly complicated list of what creature types color combinations were associated with during the last block:
Notably, Orzhov, Izzet and Simic colors are surprisingly difficult to work into these, basically requiring the decks to be WBG treefolk/elves and WUBRG elementals/scarecrows.
Note, however, that Gavin just said "in 2026" so we could reasonably see them in, say, Secrets of Strixhaven which one imagines will have 5 enemy colored commander decks.

Not at all, just do abzan elves or treefolks and temur elementals.
Cards like Cloudkin Seer and Leafkin Druid are suspiciously similar to Lorwyn flamekin and they are in temur colors

They could, but they have yet to do a return and shift the colors of typal creature type from the original pattern.

it has theres 12 new cards in the precons for Edge of Eternity
So we finished the tango and bicycle lands it was only the next two sets (lorwyn and strixhaven revisits)
so thankfully this won’t fan out to much, for finishing other land cycles not completed
(Funny enough the precons of secrets of strixhaven just brought in another unfinished cycle of octolands but this one doesn't have to wait, they confirmed plans for allied colored ones)
This was a wonderful and welcome change! They've done a nice job of keeping these cheap with consistent reprints just in the short time since they started the project, and the more copies they put out the better. Still waiting for the rest of those Bad River fetches.
Which major cycles are still left to finish? I'm not counting the octolands since they've already confirmed that they'll be finished soon, but what others still need it?
- Mirage Block slow fetches
- Planeshift Lairs
- Horizon lands
- New Capenna common fetches
Out of those, the Horizon lands and slow fetches seem the most likely to me.
