The set's Pyroclasm variant adds instant speed and cycling 2 for just 1. Best used against Pilots and creatures with a high power-to-toughness ratio for Vehicle crewing and Mount saddling.
Yeah, this is one of the best pyroclasm variants ever. Can't be the original for pure efficiency, but instant speed alone could be worth the extra mana on a card like this and cycling is a great buy-out. Which you'll probably need because red is also the color most likely to hose itself with this.
