It's raining land cycles. We have three variants on the back half of the Verge cycle (featuring flavor text of people talking about Loot), a Pilot-creating land cycle, and the return of the gainlands.
And now, basics. Our main set full-art lands are in first person racing game POV, in normal and piss border. First place foils also get their own full-art basic cycle.
This is a racing set, so we get a ton of Vehicles. Here's Mulldrifter Vehicle, I-need-to-draft-more-Vehicles Vehicle, Decree of Justice Vehicle, the starting line, and splicing Lupine Prototype to Hazoret because we really need that sponsorship money to rebuild Amonkhet.
Exhaust was so-named because they want to keep using it outside a racing set. You've seen the steady increase in one-off "once per game" effects. I'm also going to throw in the thirdartifactBirthing Pod because I'm running out of space again.
Okay I know this will be an unpopular opinion but I don't hate the borderless basics. (Though I very much do hate piss border, that was a horrific decision).
And Aerial Response Unit, great artwork and name but definitely agree - not pack one pick one.
The full art basics are exactly what I was dreading it would be... the normal basics look great though. Just wish we could have had some proper full art Kaladesh/Avishkar lands.
Absolutely dreadful stuff.
Enemy Verges! Wasn't sure if they'd be here or Tarkir, glad they're coming earlier.
Hazoret seems like a pretty good payoff for a start your engines deck. I'm picture T1: some Raceway (start your engines land) into Gingerbrute and attack, T2: haste creature, burn spell or just activate Gingerbrute, T3: Boltwave into Hazoret. Sounds cool until you remember what RDW does currently and realize that Hazoret dies to Nowhere to Run, but I assume there'll be more support for it?
One, Poochie Loot needs to be in every set and have access to a time machine. Two, whenever Loot's not on the battlefield, all the other characters should be asking "Where's Loot?" on your land's flavor text.
---
I don't know how they made those "first place" foil cards and decided they should alter the illustration, but then the alteration didn't include removing vehicles ahead of the POV.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

TLDR: They're called "first-place foils" and they have a golden foil treatment that doesn't translate very well to still images.

"Hey Loot! It looks like you have something to say!" "Yes, I certainly do! ... I have to go now. My planet needs me."
So I know no one who actually has the answer will answer this, but putting it into the aether (pun intended), will we see the Verge cycle totally completed? We have the clockwise Verges, but what about the counter-clockwise? For example, I have a Teysa deck where the deck is 2/3rds Black, so Bleachbone Verge is pretty good in it. However, my Killian deck is 2/3rds White, so Bleachbone hurts its percentages.

I feel this cycle was made just so they can pull out another five whenever they feel like it. We are past the era where WotC is not aware of how much players want these cycles to be complete-

Everyone will complain (like they always do) that it is a sorcery, but Quag Feast is actually pretty good because it is two-mana removal that gets better as the game naturally progresses.

Unpopular opinion: sorcery-speed removal is *not* as terrible as you think it is.

I agree it’s not the best due to mana value, but I happen to be a artist of flicker and this is S tier in flicker decks
and the bigger key is you can hit lands in players hands with it.

There are a few neat things to cherrypick.

New Hazoret, the first two-mana 5/3 creature since Grim Wanderer.
