I saw on social media and i will bring it here. (either this is legit or a troll by arena devs)
i noticed something about the arena deals recently and i want you to tell me what you see? (and i went from top to bottom of when each were revealed.)
When you look on further inspection on all of those you'll realize....all the deals are corrlated to the sets of 2025
Aetherdrift — the first one is a bunch of Vehicle's and Aetherdrift is a Vehicle's matters set
Tarkir Dragon Storm — the second deals is nothing but Dragons and they are all Three colored, Tarkir is a dragon kindred plane and its a wedge based set so it was hinting this
Final Fantasy UB — All the art and names except one has Crystals and in final fantasy they are aka as orbs and spheres and they appear in every game and the one that doesn't has a crystal the word Final in it's name
edge of Eternity — you see the word Star in all the cards what does this have to do with this set? where are stars found? they are in Space and edge of eternity is a space opera set plus you will find stars background in space scenes in star trek and star wars
Spider man UB — this one very easy every single creature is a Spider
but now for the one with that may be a UUB Tease this was after the spider deal
so whats the key here?
cards names but bolded as a clue
"Waterknot"
"Earth-Cult Elemental"
"Into the Fire"
"Airdrop Aeronauts"
the last two are a little tricky but this will bring reliaztion
"Distended Mindbender"
"Oswald Fiddlebender"
Still don't know?
Unless trolling, I think they are teasing the UUB set is "Avatar the last Air bender"
Think about it
Hasbro (wotc as core) has relations to Paramount with the D&D movie and Transformers (both in MTG)
A spongebob lair was announce Earlier so Nickelodeon is working with Wotc
theres a anime ATLA movie suppose to be released in October 2025 but now pushed back to 2026 conspiracy could be to line up with the set and the 20th anniversary
so unless a troll i think we might be likely be destroying that cabbage cart with mtg related things
Anyone who's ever heard of ATLA knows that it's ATLA lmao, no need to hide it behind a billion spoiler tags and act like you've unraveled the conspiracy of the century
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
The Fantastic Four are elemental super heroes Invisible Woman Air Human Torch Fire Mister Fantastic Water and the Thing earth and their main adversary is Dr Doom so I think it is hinting at an FF Set
What will be interesting for me is if it is infact avatar the last air bender.
There’s barely anything in that show that B can fit the only thing I recall is villains, spirits, and probably the Face stealer
We can look to Bloomburrow as an example, with Doctor Who being another. I've never seen Avatar, but taking the Doctor Who example, all the villains end up in black and with Bloomburrow example, you put some of the more self-centered and covetous characters in black. Since it's a story, unless Aang is a R character fighting against the oppressive rules of a WU society or a U character trying to survive a RG wilderness, the conflict probably involves some group that wants power for just themselves.
ATLA actually seems a bit trickier to adapt into MtG than at first glance. Most of what earthbenders do typically falls into R on MtG cards, but that's also obviously where all the firebending will be too.
As mentioned earlier, there's also not much in the ATLA universe that really fits B directly. You could just make all the villains hybrid-black for their unchecked ambition, but that feels a bit... lazy? The only human character I think truly feels hybrid-black, at least in the original ATLA, would be Hama.
I mean you already have five factions, air water earth fire and non-bender/technology.
I mostly buy it bc of timing, atla just did a collab with forknife and with overwatch and I believe the first thing out of the avatar studios spinoff studio thing is due this year. I love crossmedia branding give aang more guns
