Next up is are nightmare token making creature and basically it’s the scarab god activated ability but adds the drawback from Faerie Artisans. But it’s just t to make the token and a creature from any yard.
and the Harvester brought a friend Rune-Scarred Demon another old EDH staple that could make a comeback.
Rune-Scarred Demon 5BB
Creature — Demon
Flying
When Rune-Scarred Demon enters, search your library for a card, put it into your hand, then shuffle.
Not easily. You'd need turn 1 elves off a black/green dual.
How is that hard it's a two color deck with a 1 drop elf
It's 3 specific cards by turn 3 (and 2 need to be played on turn 1 and 2) plus you need a discard outlet on 3 and your turn 1 land needs to be an untapped dual and turn 2 needs to produce black. It's not going to happen often, even without contending with removal.
Or you need one of those red creatures that tap or sacrifice to grant haste. Too lazy to look up if there are any in standard.
You could use Cunning Coyote or Trailblazing Historian, but you'd need a free way to discard a card. Bloodthorn Flail can do that, but at some point you're overloading your deck with cards that are bad aside from the fact that they do this real specific thing that you'll rarely actually get to do.

Not that hard as you make it any combo need at least two cards, the discard part it's a no- issue cuz this would be a discard shell, so the only problem is having 3 pieces instead of two

Happens less than you might think. You could actually do it right now in Standard with Tinybones Joins Up, The Irencrag and Rite of the Moth. That's still 3 cards, with a less specific land sequence and no additional discard outlet needed and it still never happens.
Having one of those two lands in your opening hand, along with a Swamp, the elf, the warlock, and the sorcery is not unreasonable. Where this plan fails is the same place where other plans fail--your opponent does something to disrupt your setup. Still....a turn 3 9/9 elder demon may happen often enough that you have to be on the lookout for it--anyone playing turn 1 B/G into Llanowar Elves is probably going for it.
Similar shenanigans already happen--just last night someone manifested dread on turn 3, then turn 4 they exiled a creature then returned it to the battlefield--yes, it was Valgavoth. I congratulated them and conceded.
Yeah it's a common thing to see, not sure why he say it will never happen, which is not true, at worst it's not consistent
Maybe I should be clearer. It is possible, but it's far too inconsistent by itself. If those cards are all run in a deck, it'll happen once in a blue moon, but that deck needs something else going for it. With Zombify returning, nothing feels particularly impressive about Abyssal Harvester.

turn 1: Blooming Marsh or Llanowar Wastes, Llanowar Elves
turn 2: any untapped source of B, Abyssal Harvester
turn 3: Lively Dirge, search for Valgavoth, put it in the graveyard, activate Abyssal Harvester, get your free 9/9 elder demon
No discard outlet needed thanks to Lively Dirge.
You will still have to worry about removal because the warlock is vulnerable to Cut Down, Long Goodbye, and even Shock. You will also need to think about targeted removal from the graveyard due to cards like Agatha's Soul Cauldron (maybe not that one, because no one uses it), Ghost Vacuum, Soul-Guide Lantern, Armored Scrapgorger, and Keen-Eyed Curator. Of course, people are not really going to be playing that much graveyard hate unless Abyssal Harvester puts up amazing results very early, which I doubt. Finally, you have to be on the lookout for your opponent to Duress, Ruthless Negotiation, or Deep-Cavern Bat you (just like you have to worry about right now).
