Extreme edge case with extra combat effects, but I’d bet this is just a template mistake by wotc since lately the land animation cards all grant haste for more sensible reasons.

Most likey so you can still add mana with it if it entered during the same turn you turned it into a creature.

Absolutely for this reason. Otherwise, it would start being affected by summoning sickness as soon as it was animated (again, assuming it entered this same turn). Also, it says "until your next turn" rather than "until end of turn" for the same reason.

Absolutely for this reason. Otherwise, it would start being affected by summoning sickness as soon as it was animated (again, assuming it entered this same turn). Also, it says "until your next turn" rather than "until end of turn" for the same reason.
It's not like the tokens have haste. So you still have to either have another card to do that or wait a turn to kill. Seems slow enough a combo to be safe for eternal formats.

Yes, you need to remove one of the two or Stifle a trigger to break the loop.
