First off, yes, this is a Gray alien Fiend Hunter with an extra flicker effect for you. Those tiny red boxes on the side are the mythic exile-matters red enchantment.
Fear of Abduction4WW
Enchantment Creature - Nightmare (U)
As an additional cost to cast this spell, exile a creature you control.
Flying
When Fear of Abduction enters, exile target creature an opponent controls.
When Fear of Abduction leaves the battlefield, return each card exiled with it to their owners’ hands.

Charred Foyer // Warped Room3R // 4RR
Enchantment - Room (Mythic Rare) (You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top card of your library. You may play it this turn.

Once per turn, you may pay 0 rather than the mana cost of a spell you cast from exile.
That mythic is an instant commander classic. Any recurring card draw is already nice for mono-red, the free cast is just delicious topping.
I reslly wish Duskmoor was official a Universe Beyond set. I mean really. Aliens, ghostbuster, TV, chainsaw, baseball bat, everyone dress like cliché 80s. This is pure UB stuff.

The alien part…… making sure you remembered

of course we don't. we get a set every month. no one can even remember what happened last month, let alone remember the road map any more.
they both seem very casual friendly for commander, but regardless, i totally agree that this entire set feels like universes beyond more so than magic, and personally i feel that's a huge disappointment.

Yeah, that grey alien reference is too much for my taste.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

I'm really not looking forward to actual Aliens in the upcoming sci-fi set, but something about the fact that this explicitly is not an Alien, but rather a manifestation of someone's fear of what they think is "out there" makes this a bit more palatable. Otherwise I might consider Magic ruined since Legends's Presence of the Master.

From what i saw, the space set will still have wacky fantasy races... just in space. They did not show aliens ripped straight out of popular culture. No ET, no Mars attack, no greys. Othwerwise it would be omegacringe.

Also from Legends: Cosmic Horror.
Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
Factions: Sleeping
