The WB signpost uncommon is about as straightforward as a reanimator signpost gets... except there's a finality counter added. They really didn't want to make a second Unburial Rites.
I mean, unburial rites was so strong that it needed to be toned down this much?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
First 4 mana Resurrection effect standard's seen in a while (Sheoldred's Restoration aside, since you can't go around taking 7 damage from your own 4 drop in this meta). Now, there's plenty of answers to reanimator available in the format, but this has got to be worth a look.
Flashback is deciduous. I.e. they have decided it's free to use when they need it but it's not something they expect to use in almost every set like an evergreen.
I feel like the finality counter should have been printed with the same total mana costs for both initial cast and flashback.
Weirdly, yes. Flashback seems to have gone evergreen. It also appeared in Bloomburrow on Ruthless Negotiation and Otterball Antics, Archmage's Newt and Slickshot Lockpicker in Thunder Junction, Self-Reflection in Lost Caverns and Viral Spawning in All Will Be One. Looks like that's its first reappearance in a standard set as a random one-off. But it seems like it's here to stay.
I'm fine with it, I just want them to make sure to use reminder text. It's getting scarcer and scarcer.
Unburial Rites has always been a decent card, but was it ever problematic? I guess it did share space with Griselbrand.
