The 10/1 for UUU turns out to be a Mindcrank with a Glimpse the Unthinkable as a "tap ability." There's also asking your opponent if they want to play a game with that red uncommon.
Mindflaying SpiritUUU
Legendary Enchantment Creature - Nightmare (Rare)
Mindflaying Spirit can't be blocked.
If a source you control would deal damage to an opponent, prevent that damage and each opponent mills that many cards. It peels away the most precious memories first, then the most common, until all that remains is empty, formless fear.
10/1
Trial of AnguishR
Sorcery (Uncommon)
Choose two target creatures an opponent controls. That player chooses one of them. Trial of Anguish deals 5 damage to that creature, and the other one can't block this turn. All it took to break the bond of a lifetime was a fragment of hope.
Hmm, the Mindflaying Spirit looks nice with Fling. As the creature gets sacrified before the damage gets dealt, the replacement to mill will not take place.
Sure, there will be some cases where it works, but boy is that red removal awful. Does nothing if they got only one creature and will only get rid of the second best creature. Or does nothing if one of them has 6 toughness. The worst bit is of course that it /could/ be useful in the annoying standard mono-red super aggro deck.

Maybe not even that, since it's a sorcery and most of the problematic red creatures have haste.
Note that damage multipliers do not work with this very well.
The recipient of the damage can choose the order in which to apply replacement effects. They can choose to replace damage with mill first, and then the damage-increasing effects no longer have any damage to work with and can't apply.

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE COMBAT DAMAGE!?!?!?
Any damage multiplyer optional
even some lower damage stuff is just beyond back breaking
