The only way the reference could be even more on the nose would be to be named Children of the Dorm.

Not sure the survival upside are high enough to be attacking with a single creature (so dealing not much damage) and have no blockers.

It also lets you trigger survival abilities the turn you play them, which my be more relevant.

They didn't plan this--not only can you keep up the flavor, this card works nicely in the second main phase with Harvest Season.
