Remember: when running away from a monster, you don't have to be the fastest person in the world, you just have to be faster than everyone else you're running with.
Only triggers off your own sacrifice, so it isn't a mayhem devil in that sense (also can't target creatures or planeswalkers with the ping). The drain is quite nice though.
"Bestie" on a piece of non-Un-set flavor text might be a bridge too far for me.
