Impending 4 - 2RR (If you cast this spell for its impending cost, it enters with four time counters and isn't a creature until the last is removed. At the beginning of your end step, remove a time counter from it)
When Overlord of the Boilerbilge enters or attacks, it deals 4 damage to any target.
5/5
in reality it’s really just a second Inferno Titan but 1 damage more, no firebreathing, 1/1 less. And no damage splitting
the positive note is you can get it out sooner with impending and counter removal.
Always fun to see the artists preview their own cards. How much will the inability to split 4 damage factor into whether this is an Inferno Titan powercreep or just a sidegrade?
I don't like that impeding removes the counter at the end of your turn. It means it first becomes a creature on your opponent's turn, giving them a window to destroy it as a creature before you can use it. It's also annoying if you mix suspend and impeding in the same deck as they trigger at different times. (Yeah, it is different from suspend, but feels like a some sort of cousin. I'd have to look up if suspend counters were time counters.)

I mean if they're spending a card to destroy this after you already used the 4 damage to destroy something else, that's a 2 for 1 right there.
