Here's the collation of that common Landscape cycle. They're basically powercreeped Panoramas. Where do you think this would see play outside of MH3 Limited?
I don't get the grouching with these lands. I love 'em and expect them to perform adequately for years to come. I still want them to finish the Bad River cycle though.
The cycling costs are interesting on these. I'm not sure how often I'd actually cycle one of these, but the mana symbols are great visual indicators of what land types these can fetch at a glance.
are you kidding ofcoarse these will see play in commander this the best budget fetchland cycle for 3-color and up decks
They will not be played in commander, not even in budget decks. I never seen people play panoramas, I will not see people playing these eithers.
Terramorphic Expanse is in 16% of decks on EDHRec and Evolving Wilds is in 22%. I think you're underestimating how bad the Panoramas are if you think they're a better comparison.

Those are just the guys that were too lazy to take out those lands from their precons. Even in casual/budget realms, EDH precons decks nowadays are full of mostly untapped and rare duals that are infinitely better than these lands. There are just too many choices available now to even think to include this.

I think you're underestimating the amount of newer players who will still stick Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse into decks, just because they have them, and they have an incorrect perceived idea that untapped rare duals are out of their budget.
I also think these can go in some budget landfall decks if you can't afford good fetches.

I mean, I can't afford good fetches hehe, they're definitely out of my budget, so I take what I can get
Terramorphic/evolving wilds/escape tunnel tend to stick in my 2 color decks - I tend to have incidental value to landfall triggers, descent triggers, sacrifice triggers, having cards in my graveyard, having lands in my graveyard - the main reason they get pulled from my decks is a matter of time spent shuffling and searching and not playing.

Yes, but those cards are so bad that requires to be played up from 3 or more colors in EDH so you can't even put them in your bicolor decks even if you want to. Which means that meanwhile, we already have for a tricolor deck at common x3 of the Mirage fetchlands, x5 of the capenna locales, x5 of the panoramas, myriad landscape, shire terrace, promising veins and warped landscape.
Here you go, with just naming common fetchland and not a single rare, you can fill 16 land slot, then if you can afford more decent things, we go up to at least 38 lands (9 fetchlands, fabled passage, prismatic vista, thawing glaciers) which is way more than enough for any landfall, descent, grave shenaningans you ever need in your life. That's why those lands are completely unnneccesary in EDH. Even in cycle matter decks their cycle cost is just horrendous for the payoff.
Cool thing: the cycling isn't for utility, but to show the fetchable colors, making them easier to parse in draft.
Ok sure, but if they had an additional text like "When you discard/cycle CARDNAME, draw a card / scry 1 / surveil 1 /gain 1 etc..", they would infinitely more useful and worth it to play and use their cycle cost
Cycle to draw 2 cards or a card and some other bonus? Thank goodness you aren't a designer
Yeah when you pay THREE DIFFERENT MANDATORY COLORS, you definitely deserve more to simply "draw a card", especially in a supplemental set with a higher power level like this and if you think that even gaining one life is too much well what I can say...thank god that YOU are not a magic designer. If those are your standards, your sets would be absolutely boring and terrible to play.

Have you played with this set in limited yet? These lands are fantastic. Such an improvement over other low-rarity fetches in an environment where you actually want to get colorless mana sometimes and yes the cycling isn't amazing but it is a nice bonus on an already strong limited fetch.
You can die on this hill I guess, but these lands are quite nice for limited or as budget fetches when you care about landfall, and/or care about being able to tap for colorless, and/or care about lands that put themselves in your graveyard.

I'm pretty sure they are limited playable, but in limited it's playable basically (almost) everything, what I complained is that they could had made this lands more contructed playable (and perhaps not only for commander since this is a MODERN oriented set), and a slight bonus wouldn't had killed anybody

How is Shire Terrace, Promising Vein, or Warped Landscape better than these lands? Shire Terrace and Promising Vein requires 1 mana and tapping to search, and Warped Landscape requires 2 mana and tapping to search, while these just tap to search. The ability to search for any basic isn't really an upgrade in a 3 color deck.

Oh, ok 35 good fetches instead of 38, sorry. Still, too many available in the format to be this stuff really relevant in constructed.

No but they still are if you play a 4 or 5 color deck. Not to mention you can even put those on bi or monocolor decks (Titania, Protector of Argoth is thirsty as **** of those effect) while those lands, because of their horrible cycle cost, have also with them a color identity that prevent you to even do that.
Is enough to prove why those lands really aren't as necessary as they are? Only giving you a better payoff with that cycle cost or just make a normal cycle cost would make them MUCH more playable in constructed. For sure as it now they are not modern playable, hope we can agree with that at least.

These are also conditionally better than the Capenna locales, generally better than the mirage fetches and strictly better than the panoramas. I think that last one deserves an RTFC.

Those lands are not strictly better than any of your examples. the panoramas and locales have the huge advantage to be played even in mono and bicolor decks (and so, generals like Titania WANTS the panoramas that fetches for forests) and the locales even gain you lifes and the mirage fetchlands can fetch ANY dual lands and not only basics. No matter how much efforts you put on this, you will never be persuasive about the fact that those lands actually add something relevant to the commander format. We simply don't need them. They don't do enough to be really appealing.
