I have no idea what to make of Extraordinary Journey. It could be used as mass removal and/or as a weird Paradoxical Outcome-type thing. I don't know. Anyone?
What I do know is it's high time Parallel Lives got reprinted. Prepare the quickly-growing token army.
Just play it for UU and draw a card when your creatures come back from adventures. The xx is too expensive to make this useful if you aren't getting value from exile already.

Unfortunately I think that's true. At XUU I guess this would have been too strong, but maybe X1UU could have been interesting and a little more potential.

Throw this in a blink deck with Brago, King Eternal or Conjurer's Closet and you have a nice engine. Also, notice that it also triggers on your opponent's adventures.

At 2UU it's basically Into the roil and at 6 it's a bit better. I agree that the best play with this is probably uu in a blink deck where all yer blinking is now cantrips but if you pay a little it actually does something on ETB, putting it above a lot of enchantments.

you forgot something… it has a ETB from exile so that means… Flicker

Yeah, adventures are just the in set synergy. What I was trying to express is that it needs exile shenanigans to get value and is not good in a vacuum.

Norin the Wary would be fun with this.

a super awful bounce spell attached to a pretty good blink Payoff.
it's kinda janky if you ask me, but it could be alright in some decks.... I doubt it ever sees competitive play, though.
