The Wilds of Eldraine spoiler season starts... right now. This post will be updated during and after the show to present all the cards previewed within it.
Eriette: edit: I forgot aura ruling is weird it’s you still control thr auras if you attach them to opponents creature so Eriette is gonna be on my radar of “don’t let them go nuts” commanders
Rowan and will: they both reverse what they do and its pretty good Will makes WU spells cheaper for life gained. and Rowan makes BR spells cost less for life lost (and both are phenomenally easy in each of their colors)
Troyan: Ok that's a must for Animar, Soul of Elements since his mana ability will always work in that commander.
Syr ginger: looks like my Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch is adding a cookie princess from the orginal throne of eldraine trailer to the deck. (i have stuff to sac the myr tokens)
blind mice: Wait a minute...it saids "target token you control" nothing to do with creatures dang take Replication Technique type of spells into enormous factor when using this saga.
Tegwyll and Alela: there it is! thats the end of the wait for a fairy tribal legend and both a nice choice one choice draws you cards for "aristocrat" faeires" and the other one is flash matters with a combat damage faires for Goading craetures.
land tax: welcome to budget player city (it was just reprinted in commander masters too)
Sneak attack: WHAT?!?!?! This will gonna give you large number of wins in limited!
Eriette: wow.... did they ever make a stupid mistake... its suppose to say "Auras you own" for that second part not "Auras you control".
I hope that you're being facetious here but you can control Auras that you don't own. It's very niche, but it CAN happen and in that case, if they are attached to creatures that you don't control, those creatures can no longer attack you or a Planeswalker you control with Eritte on board and you get additional life steal. Also, this cuts out if your opponent also does the niche thing of gaining control of your Auras to keep you from benefitting from that last ability.
Have the visuals for all the roles been shown yet?
I'm not certain about Virtuous (since it seems exclusive to the Commander deck?), but they showed six roles (on three cards) that apparently are in the main set: Monster, Royal, Sorcerer, Young Hero, Wicked, Cursed.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Huh? Auras are easily the permanents least likely to change controllers.
Also, flash faeries giving me flashbacks to Lorwyn standard.
just fixed my comment
infact I just remembered the ruling I forgot you still control auras if you attach them to opponents creatures
Rowan's mana cost reduction ability seems much easier to abuse than Will's. Just crack a fetch and search for a shockland and that's already a 3-mana discount!
I'm not certain about Virtuous (since it seems exclusive to the Commander deck?)
The mechanics article confirms that this is indeed the case, and that Ellivere is the only card that makes it.

For the fall premiere set, this really disappoints. Roles are God-awful trash, something I would expect in a small capenna-style set. Likely there will be one or two broken adventures and the rest of the set is forgettable.

There are no block-style big and small sets anymore, and the one on Capenna wasn'ta small one to begin with.
I don't see how Roles are trash. They can be used in many different ways, they will play different roles (XD) in different Limited archetypes. Competitiveness will obviously depend on how they are cost. I bet the biggest issue with them will be that they can't stack the way +1/+1 counters would, but that can be reflected in the designs.

Also, does this mean each draft archetype is getting two mythics??
Edit, here it is.

Aura Thief comes to mind here btw.
