While I wait for someone to complain that the Archivist is mono-white (like people always do with green cards), please enjoy two different but equally stunning arts of Blood Moon.
I sure will be glad when WotC stops going overboard to prevent insane combos by using phrases such as "activate only as a sorcery" or "this ability triggers only once each turn".
The first alternate art for Blood Moon is better, the one with the tower and banners; it feels more oppressive and desolate as compared to the second one.

i like the tower one better (perhaps because it reminds me of the old arts more) but i will have to see the actual card and not the render. the details of the image might get lost when rasterized for printing. we will see.
i'm not sure why they did not make textbox fully opaque on both versions though. it covers the art a bit on the castle one.
No worries. Just take heart that people may disagree here without taking it personally, which seems to be a rare commodity these days.

A lot gets lost when just writing on a screen and a lot of people here seem to want to fight over anything and everything as if fighting over a card game actually means something hehe. Some just like to talk about cards and have a laugh though
The first one reminds me of the background drawings in Sleeping Beauty and the second reminds me of Berserk. Both look cool to me
Elvish Archivist seems quite good. Only one per turn for each but a 2 mana 2/3 that draws a card is a great start and it only gets better from there. Combine it with enchantments cards from Kamigawa and artifacts cards from the Brother War maybe.
