The first of our Commander Masters precons is the 5-color Sliver Swarm precon. It's a Sliver tribal deck through and through, no subthemes needed. At the head of the hive alongside Sliver Gravemother is Rukarumel, the person from all the Time Spiral block Sliver flavor text. Decklist is here.
It's not all just Slivers. There's a lot of generic creature type support here as well, from creatures that pick up creature types to ways to dig for more of said creature type.
Reprints seem miserable for how expensive this precon will be, especially the lands - only saw Sliver Hivelord as the most notable? Maybe I missed one of the other slivers which is worth a lot, I'm not too familiar with their prices.
there is definitely some value in the deck. There are several cards around the $4-$10 range.
The manabase has some decent fixing like battle for zendikar lands, amonkhet lands, mirage fetchlands.

Illusion — that’s the Titan teaser and wow this might be the most obnoxious one yet you draw cards equal to the number of creatures in your tribe for ETB and attack and why is the word “nontoken” missing
Ancestors — Whoa! That might be testable in legacy elves but in general the flash back makes it handy
Fury —hmmm might work in non tribal decks on the right decks ofcourse this is gonna be disgusting in goblins/dragons/morophon eldrazi’s with scions
New slivers
monarch — good luck ever getting monarch again for the opponents when this comes in
Goad ETB - geez this is gonna be annoying sliver
Afflict and Amass slivers — wow m surprised I thought this would be eternize this is way better
Impulse draw per hit — yikes and slivers have envasion slivers so this could be backbreaking for opponents
my sliver deck just smashes this one like a bug since my deck I really only need to get the 10 new cards (the 3 any tribe cards for other tribes) and the reskin of the M14/M15 slivers
Choose rebels and you get to use your rebels to search any creature (of the appropriate price) from your deck, which is possibly the most effective build.
Unless you have enough mana lying around to choose God/Praetor to spam out every creature all at at once.
Okay, now the tokens are up. Not much variety, but what were you expecting from Slivers? Note that each pair of tokens presented here moving forward represents 1 double-faced token.
Wish Plague Sliver was legendary so I could run it as a commander. As a former sliver player, I hate slivers. I've kept 0 land hands and won; I've kept 7 land hands and won. There's almost no skill or nuance required to play slivers. Fortunately, a couple board wipes tend to knock them out of commission for a while.
Lol they retconned the ugly Shandalar slivers' arts...

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
IMO its sad they went five colors for this. It makes sense, but a RG sliver deck and a U sliver deck could do pretty different, equally interesting things.

Why make it work for Slivers when it's really just a 5 color "Creature Types Matter" Commander?
Based on her quoted flavor text, Rukarumel is an ecologist, studying the interaction between species and how those interactions affect the whole system. Her cards points out how Slivers can fill literally any niche in your (insert creature type here) ecosystem to its betterment. Mechanically, some creature types just do not have the breadth of abilities or general mechanical cohesion (until Wizards decideds to build a Limited archetype out of it), so Rukarumel lets you fill out those deficiencies with Slivers (a creature type full of lords) until better support comes along. She has the same role as Morophon, but done differently.
The Biologist is the most interesting card to me, it may end up being the niche tribal commander over something like Morophon.
The mana base is atrocious for $80, or $40. The exclusion of Sliver Hive is baffling. I don't care about "reprint equity" when that land won't see print unless it's a Secret Lair or a set with 20+ slivers in it, and I doubt the later is coming any time soon. For $80 a shockland or triome doesn't seem like it's stretching the budget of the deck either. Not even City of Brass or Mana Confluence.

Now they also put new art on old slivers like gemhide sliver

Side commander: basically its morophon, the boundless 2 this time its Arcane Adaptation variant. minor chance liliana's contract gets a minor hype spike since this commander could easily do it. (oh by the way Rukarumel ( oh by the way its the time spiral flavor text teaser too)

Even Dormant Sliver is missing since we got a couple of bounce/sac slivers
I would have said throncaster sliver but they were likely way to scared to add that to the deck because of venom sliver
Choose rebels and you get to use your rebels to search any creature (of the appropriate price) from your deck, which is possibly the most effective build.
Unless you have enough mana lying around to choose God/Praetor to spam out every creature all at at once.
Use cards like Kindred Summons, reflections of littjara, or haunting voyage to benefit you regardless of what is chosen.
