Why would a blink effect on a Sliver be crazy, outside of Dregscape Sliver?
Lavabelly Sliver was the first one that came to mind. I was also thinking about stuff like Molten Echoes or Warstorm Surge. You're right, though; apart from Lavabelly and Dregscape, there's not that much synergy with other slivers.
I thought of Dormant Sliver earlier today. That's something.
Something like: "Slivers you control have myriad.
3: Search your library for a Sliver card, reveal it, then shuffle."
would be amazing for a brand new Sliver.

TCGPlayer has the precon decks going for $348.95, per set. I only want the Sliver deck, and most stores (mine included) are only limiting one deck per customer. Damn, my poor wallet to get at least an unopened box, one box to play out of the box, and one other to customize. The play sets it's looking like I'm buying singles.

$349 has to be fake. They can't ****iing be real to charge that for precons. I'm saying that now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true. It's just ******* insane if that price is true.

Works out to roughly twice the cost per deck against a premier set commander deck, which lines up with the rest of the product line.

$349 is completely ****ed. Like totally and utterly ****ed up. I paid ******* $60 for the Atraxa precon deck in a store. Now they want $349? I'm sure as ***** not buying any if that's the official price.

Now $349 is a lot, but they did say "per set", so basically $90 per deck, and honestly with the way 40k went and how they love to just decide certain things are more expensive just because (Commander decks going for $20-$45 even though they're all the same) it's not surprising that they're going to go with "These are "premium" because we say so" and up charge us.

We do have the future sight slivers. Frenzy, Poison, Fateseal, Absorb being among their mechanics, and sliver cycling from the red one. They could add effects like making slivers have rampage or other outdated things, maybe a landwalk of some kind but we'll have to wait and see

Oh so it's for all decks? I thought he meant it was $349 per deck... my bad. Still really expensive in my eyes, but at least not per deck insanity hehe.

The individual decks are listed for 90-110, which is kinda ridiculous, yes.
If you ask me, they should all come in a cardboard box that just has 120 cards and costs $30 (USD). It's clearly profitable to have an end user price of about $0.25 per card (a 4 dollar, 16 card booster works out to exactly that), but I guess they gotta add a bunch of landfill material to every one because reasons.

We need :
- A Larceny Sliver
- A Hexproof Sliver
- A Myriad Sliver
- A Melee Sliver
- A Goad Sliver
Those are all pretty basic effects that are still missing.
Myriad sliver might be avoided because just resolving a bunch of myriad triggers alongside ETB triggers and variable buffs would be pretty complicated. Encore sliver would be less messy.
Prowess sliver could be interesting and encourage more creative deckbuilding.
Prowess sliver could be interesting and encourage more creative deckbuilding.
I tought about that too, but Prowess kinda fight with the plain aggro strategy to play more Slivers. The more noncreatures, the less Slivers, it's a feel bad tension in any normal Sliver deck. Also the fact is just a temporary boost and not permanent is not so exciting. But sure, I can see WotC make an izzet or monored one anyway just for the sake of completist.
I would love also a Looting effect on Slivers ("Whenever a Sliver deal combat damage to a player, draw and then discard a card.") or even at higher cost and rarity "All Slivers have "All damage made by this creature, make his controller draw and discard that many cards.")
EDIT: oh crap, but we're absolutely missing a Fight lord Sliver, now that's something the deck would need and love.

That's sort of the idea, to encourage deckbuilding that isn't just 36 lands and the 63 best slivers.

I think Convoke would be possible.

You haven't seen sliver overlord have you
Yes I know, just losing my damn mind about what it could be. Like I previously said, be a tall order to top Sliver Overlord.
What if it's like the replication of Llitjara? Copying your slivers or making your slivers copy as they're cast?
I wonder if the Sliver commander could simply be "Slivers you control have Ward - Pay X life, where x is the number of Slivers you control."

Come to think about it, I hope this legend blinks Slivers. Won't be a problem in legacy, and I doubt it will become banned even with Dormant Sliver, Dregscape Sliver, Harmonic Sliver, and Mesmeric Sliver.

That's only interesting in a deck that plays non-Slivers as well over Gemhide Sliver. Redundancy obviously, but that his its two sides.
Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
