Just this and a Sawblade Scamp seems great to me. Every turn, you get a 1/1 and they take 1 damage. If you get it out before you get your oil cards, it can even get some value just by spreading some oil counters around and turning dead creatures into goblins.

Good point, that's a nice little 2-card synergy at common and uncommon, could be very real in the format.
