When trying to innovate on staple effects, you could do one of two things: stick two of them together, or use a set mechanic. Against All Odds is a flicker spell stapled to the recently-added small reanimator spell, while Reject Imperfection is the classic counterspell with set mechanic.
- Sac Lotus, pay 1, cast Against All Odds, get R from Birgi
- Flicker Witness to get back second copy of Against All Odds and return Lotus Bloom
- Sac Lotus + R from before to play Against All Odds again; looping.
- Sac Lotus, pay 1, cast Against All Odds, get R from Birgi
- Flicker Witness to get back second copy of Against All Odds and return Lotus Bloom
- Sac Lotus + R from before to play Against All Odds again; looping.
I think you only need 1 Against All Odds, you don't choose targets for the Witness until after it has fully resolved.
