It's a pretty useful way to take out surviving blockers in ONE Limited, especially if you have a creature or artifact already in line to be sacrifice fodder. Now you do can do what Nahiri did and drop a Coliseum on your opponent's board.
you Can't sacrifice planeswalkers with this card and that’s the point of the story
the flavor text does show nahiri did infact die but only to be resurrected by compleation
Nah, Nahiri had a "last free breath", so she could have been Compleated and lost her free will but not her life immediately afterward.
Man, is Nahiri fond of ditching your resources to deal X damage, though - see Nahiri's Wrath for another example of that tendency of hers, especially when she tilts red.
A dividable sorcery-speed fling that can't target players seems really narrow. It is always a 2-for-X, so X better be greater than 2... which probably mean they were weenies... limited-only card, and even there not that great. If you got a fatty, you probably prefer to keep it?
PS: the only way I can see this be marginally good is with the Brother's War prototypes.

It says "last free breath." Also, I think the thing sacrificed is supposed to be the coliseum, but it is a little weird flavorwise still.

Technically Luxior, Giada's Gift or a Gideon on one's turn can be sacrificed.
One thing I've learned in this game, nothing's impossible. Where there's a will, there's a way...
