skywarden: looks like Orge resister is now on the Resistance
expand: this is definitely better than Cartographer's Survey your one less deep but you have insurance if you wiff you proliferate on the wiffs and ofcoarse once again explosive vegetation keeps getting worse.

I like the balancing act of lessening the range of Expand the Sphere to top six cards, and the addition of proliferate for whiffs. Doesn't feel overtly strong, but does raise the floor for the card.
You don't need to whiff to proliferate with expand the sphere. You choose how many lands you put on the battlefield and how many times you proliferate.

Well, explosive vegetation actually gets you the colors of mana you need (assuming you put a basic in your deck), which is something this and survey are never guaranteed to do. But yeah, this is pretty neat. You would need to want to proliferate something to play this over survey or the various explosive vegetation variants, but what's nice is it can just be a proliferate 2 if you want!

Are you sure? It says "Put" not "You may put". Sounds like you can't choose to proliferate if you do have the lands.

It says "put up to two." The "up to" lets you choose 0 or 1.
And anyway, you are not revealing the cards, so you can fail to find any land as you wish. This is a normal rule of magic to avoid the problem that otherwise people could cheat and it could not be proven.

I think you mean Kuldotha Rebirth not Muldrotha.
